Casual walking yes. Out and about walking while on a trip yes. They are very comfortable. I think a good pair of tennis shoes would be good for intense walking and exercising.

These are officially substitute tested and they are so comfy! I have been able to wear them for days at a time, on my feet the whole time, without tiring. I love them! The guava color is soo cute and I love the leopard print inside. I wore them with short socks and the back kept sliding down but I think that is more of a sock issue and not a shoe issue. Very happy with this purchase.
