And up to 2.0 deciliters. **Q: How do you stop the extension hoses from falling out ?** A: You don't. It's a terrible design. I ended up buying some flexible rubber hose and using a hose clamp to hold it on the end of the first extension that's held in securely. I lost the extension in a very tight spot that took hours to remove so be careful **Q: Are the "rubber" o-rings just rubber or are they able to stand up to automotive fluids?** A: this pump has good Orings....you will be able to removed ..fluids power.steering.brake fluid and coolant...... **Q: Does anyone have a guess on the lube used on the o-rings? Curious what to use in the future.** A: Silicone grease is a good bet. I use 3M Silicone Paste. Name varies by brand, sometimes called silicone dielectric grease or paste. Works very well, lasts a long time, doesn't degrade like soap+oil based grease and won't degrade the rubber of the o-ring. Also handy for spark-plug boots and general rubber/plastic preservation under the hood (at least the 3M stuff I use is). Don't overdo it, a little dab'll do you, just wipe it around the o-ring with your fingers and don't leave excess blobs. Only exception to silicone grease would be if you're using this to dispense paint of some sort, then I'd stick to soapy water (drop of Dawn dishwashing detergent in a tablespoon or so of water).
