Grip is well made, Blade stop works well, Blade never slips from handle. Blade is easy to change **Q: With set, will I be able to cut vinyl tiles?** A: from my experince as a general contractor, the best way to cut vinyl tiles is to either place them in a regular oven (not a micro-wave ) @200 degrees for about 2-3 minutes . the tiles will cut like butter .be careful, .the tiles will be very warm and very flexible. the other alternative is a hairdryer on high for about 30 seconds, but, don't hold the dryer in one place ,or it may burn the tiles. so, to answer your question, yes , this knife is very good at cutting vinyl tiles and sometimes you can cut them(the tiles) cold, but, be careful the tiles sometimes are brittle **Q: What are the 3 blade lengths?** A: Measuring along the cutting edge from where it emerges from the tool to point, the blade extends just over 3/8" (not quite 1/2"), 3/4", and 1".
