Worked for my demodex blepharitis
About two years ago, I was diagnosed with dry eye in my left eye. I had intermittent symptoms of watery eye, blurry vision and a feeling that something like an eyelash was poking into my tear duct. I tried over the counter eyedrops for dry eye with no success. About 4 months ago, my symptoms got much worse. My tear duct was definitely clogged and I had swelling and pain in my nasolacrimal glad. My eye was constantly watering and my vision was blurry and I started having a crusty build up at the base of my lash line on the inside half of my upper eyelid. After a Google search, I knew from the list of symptoms and pictures that I had demodex blepharitis. I purchased Noveha's Eyelid Cleansing Wipes and Noveha's Extra Strength Eyelid Foaming Cleanser. I started out just using the wipes. For me, the cleansing wipes did not do as good of a job as the Foaming Cleanser. The texture of the wipes was a little too rough for my eyelid and there was little to no improvement in symptoms. I used the foaming cleanser as part of a routine: after washing my hands, I used warm water to gently soften the crusty ick on my lash line without wiping or scrubbing. Then I used one pump of the foam to gently wash my lash line, massage my swollen tear duct and then wash my eyelid, under eye area and my eyebrow. I wash my eye area for about 20-30 seconds using my finger tips. I rinsed the area with warm water, patted dry and then put a very thin layer of petroleum jelly along my lash line and eyelid. I did this routine twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Two and a half weeks later, I had no symptoms of demodex blepharitis or dry eye. My left eye is completely back to normal. For the past week, I've used it once a day. I keep a couple packets of the cleansing wipes in my gym bag and I'll pack them when I travel just in case I need them, but when I'm home, I only use the foaming cleanser. In retrospect, I think that the wipes didn't have enough of the tea tree oil to affect the amount of demodex I had. The wipes are moist, but there is probably more tea tree oil in the volume of cleanser I used. Plus, the cleanser is easier to distribute and get into the areas where the demodex lives when dissolved in a soap solution. The foam cleanser is thick enough so it stays on your hand where you put it and doesn't slide down your face when you're washing. It did not irritate my skin or eye, the soap is soft and smooth. It didn't dry out my skin, but I also used petroleum jelly afterwards. If you have demodex blepharitis, this is definitely worth trying. Updated edit: It's been a year since I posted and I thought I'd add what happened. I continued doing the once a day treatment for about another week and then completely stopped using the eye wash. I had no problems with any pain, watering or crustiness. In September 2025, I woke up one morning with a crusty feeling in both eyes and my left eye was watering a bit. Rather than wait and see if it got worse, I used the eyelid cleanser foam on both eyes, using the same technique as mentioned above. Three days later (six treatment sessions) I stopped because I had no more symptoms, but I actually felt back to normal after three sessions. I did a few extra sessions just in case. Something I did not mention in the original post that I should have: I put a clean pillowcase on my bed pillow every night and I used a clean towel to dry my affected eye for every treatment session. In September, I washed my hands between treating each eye and used a separate clean towel to dry each eye. When washing my pillow cases and towels, I presoaked the load with 1/4 cup bleach. I never used the towelette packets that I had in my gym bag. They got a bit beat up, so I threw them away and replaced them with new packets, but I doubt I'll ever use them. Still a five star rating! Still highly recommend!

Helpful, refreshing product
Using for a couple of weeks and results are good. I like the foaming, the scent is fine, and the results are good. Used for blepharitis diagnosis - irritation and itchiness reduced to almost being eliminated. With continued use, I have no doubt that will be eliminated soon. I use this morning and evening currently. I use their eye wipes as well - particularly helpful and convenient to use during the day at work or out walking. Try it.

Gentle Cleaner and it works
This is a gentle cleansing foam and it does not sting the eyes. Effectiveness it seems to help my face. The Youtube video I saw recommended not washing it off. Let it dry on your face around your eyes, I do this at night. The research I did recommend this wash. The Demodex Mites die in 4 minutes with contact with Tea tree oil. I was having a problem with my skin on my face. I was having breakouts. I used 1 teaspoon of coconut oil with 3 drops of lemongrass essential oil with a qu-tip to the outbreak area. Lemongrass essential oil works in 2 minutes against the mites. It seemed to be helping. I use this was daily and at night I leave it on.

Perfect skin in one month, but needs to be combined with an actual facial cleanser for oily skin
I had actually never heard about demodex until my eye doctor mentioned them as a possible cause of frequent styes I had been experiencing over the last year. My issues actually began over a year ago. I always struggled with acne in my younger years, as I have naturally greasy skin. I used to use very harsh chemical washes and treatments to fight it, which barely worked at the time. As I approached the end of my 30s, I started to go a different route. I dumped all the harsh cleansers in favor of Cerave daily face wash. That change and aging seemed to keep my skin under control. However, I would still have occasional breakouts, and even a few cysts. I didn't mind, since it was such a large improvement overall. I enjoyed several years of well controlled facial skin, but something changed in the beginning of 2025. I was starting to get cystic acne quite frequently, and I couldn't figure out any reason why. I also started getting eye styes, which I had never had before. I changed facial cleansers, medications, vitamins, hair care products, and even laundry detergents. Nothing seemed to give lasting results. I battled this for over a year, and it was getting to the point where my forehead looked like I was 16 and in the peak of my breakouts. On a recent trip to the eye doctor a couple months ago, I mentioned to her that I believed I was getting another stye. She said that my frequency of styes pointed to possible issues with demodex mites. I went home and started to research demodex, and suddenly everything made sense. It is a fairly well known phenomenon for people with demodex issues to experience a type of rosacea from them. And this fit the exact description of what I had been dealing with for the last year. I researched facial cleansing products with tea tree oil, as it is said to help eliminate demodex. This product has been a game changer for my face. Not only has it eliminated my demodex-related rosacea/acne, it has helped eliminate almost all acne. I am actually wondering if most of my acne was caused by the mites all those years ago. Just a warning that this product isn't technically a face soap. So if your skin is oily like mine, you need a face soap as well. I lather this on first, then follow with a light amount of Cerave Daily Face Wash. I also use Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo. These 3 products together have given me completely clear skin. Long review, I know, but I am hoping others who suffer from demodex-related issues get something out of it. My eyes are still not perfect, but I am about to start an eye drop to hopefully fix that redness/irritation.

So good!
Recently my eyelashes have been itchy and I may have noticed a slight amount of “dandruff”. I don’t know if there were mites but I wanted to get rid of them! After using this cleanser once, my eyelashes felt better. I felt relief from the itching irritation. I’ve used it twice without any adverse effects. No eye burning or redness. The foam is delicate and delightful. It feels like a marshmallow puff when it touches your eyelids. It’s very comforting. I have to use it longer to determine if it’s effective but so far, it is great.

The towelettes are a very good size and gentle on your skin.
The Demodex eyelid cleaner is gentle on your eyes, and another plus is the fresh clean feeling after use. The size of the towelettes is very generous. Skin feels refreshed and moisturized after use.

No problems, used it a long time
Used it ages, never any issue. Eyes are better for it. It’s fine as a face wash too. Not drying on skin. Foam is a nice consistency. Lasts a decent time.

Amazing
I’ve always had very sensitive eyes, but over the past year it got significantly worse—constant itching, irritation, and discomfort. I tried so many different washes and treatments, but nothing seemed to work. At one point, one of my eyes became extremely red and flaky, and I honestly didn’t know what to do. Then I tried the Demodex Eyelid Cleanser Foam, and the difference was incredible. After just the first use, the itching was gone. Within two days, I saw a complete improvement—my eye looked and felt back to normal. What really stands out is how gentle yet effective it is. It doesn’t sting at all, it’s easy to use, and it leaves my eyes feeling clean and refreshed. It’s also reassuring to use something specifically designed for issues like Demodex, MGD, and general eye irritation. I only wish I had discovered it sooner. I truly can’t recommend this enough for anyone struggling with sensitive or irritated eyes.
