Great counting book. I love the other books in the series too. The art is nice, and I appreciate having both English and Spanish (though my preference would be to have even more Spanish incorporated).

My 2.5 year old daughter loves these books! We have the color book and read it all the time. When she first saw this one she asked if it was like her "chili pepper" book. Anyways, this one is also a favorite.

I was very excited for this books since they seems bilingual and matched Hispanic culture. The book is easy to read and does match Hispanic heritage, but is mostly written in English with the referred word in Spanish matching the culture. Overall good book, and glad that reflects our customs and traditions but would've wish it was bilingual.

There is a lack of story arc here... The book begins with a pinata hanging in the air and ends with a pinata still hanging in the air while 10 people sit around relaxing. My three year old kept asking why they not break the pinata?, where's the candy?
