Mrs Wordsmith Year 2 English Wondrous Workbook, Ages 6–7 (Key Stage 2)

I love Mrs Wordsmith books. They're the one teaching resource that has actually made home schooling fun for my young daughter. They're easy to understand ( for both children and adults), set out well and illustrated beautifully with amusing characters. I find the easiest way to teach my daughter is when it doesn't feel like a chore. Thankfully the Mrs Wordsmith team have realised that there's a better way. My daughter loves using the books and reading about the funny antics of the characters, all whilst learning. She'll quite happily work through page after page with no complaints. If you have a child who's a reluctant learner, then these books are definitely worth a try. They've helped my daughter immensely.

this is an english workbook for kids at year 2 or around, i ordered it for my 6 years old little girl, who’s not a native english speaker, in fact our family is also not native speaker so it’s a tough job for us to teach her english and give her a good english foundationthis book has 192 pages, it’s much more than basic phonics that my daughter learning from school, it puts focus on grammar, punctuation, vocabulary in the front, and then back to spelling (further learning to phonics) then reading and writingchapters in the book are full illustrated with pictures, examples and small exercises, i’m sure it could help kids (and adult too) to build good foundation to learn more complicated english later, seems the learning pace is moderate and kids are very interested to keep reading / doing exercise chapter by chapteri’m very satisfied with this book, would definitely recommendhope you find these information helpful

Good workbook that is easy to follow and has a good range of questions. Four stars.

This is a fantastic, bumper-size workbook covering a wide variety of English language skills, ranging from spelling and phonics to grammar, punctuation and handwriting.The format is engaging and colorful, and each topic is clearly explained with examples before launching into the exercises, which are simply laid out. There are also lots of helpful tips on how to remember spelling and grammar rules, etc.I like that all the answers are included at the back of the book. This is useful not just for children but also for parents who may not have English as a mother tongue.All in all, an excellent home learning resource to reinforce what your child is learning in the classroom.Thanks for reading my review. When i got this product i thot about using for my child to get them ore involve on the work that they are doing in school and it will bust them to do more, this book showed my child that you can do work in the book and all so have fun doing it. It had grate actives and fun things to teach your child on prepare them to do more in school .
