I've had 3 airpod cases so far:1. ESR Pulse series magnetically locking and opening case - the airpods wouldn't connect because of the magnets, and it looked ugly2. Venna vArmor locking case with MagSafe - not a perfect fit, the adhesive was needed in order to make it stay and it left residue after removed, and the lock was unfunctional and when dropped my airpods would open and fall out.3. This ESR Halolock CyberArmor case.Wow amazing I amazed by this case. The sound is very satisfying when closed, due to the extra magnets inside the case. Opening isn't as difficult as I thought it would be, and with a bit of strength, it can be done with one hand. The MagSafe is also very strong, won't come off unless you pull it off with force.I also like that the top part stays in place without the adhesive, and it hasn't fallen off in any of my drop tests. To remove it you have to apply a lot of force and then it'll come off. The lanyard also feels premium, and unlike cheaper cases, I appreciate that the lanyard is colour matched to the case. The feel of the case is very premium in my opinion.Now for the best part - I absolutely love the fact that this case locks without having a visible thick lock like on every other locking case. Now you have a locking case that feels good & looks good.As for how well the lock functions? Well I did 6 drop tests; 3 on hard floor, 3 on carpet, from head height (1.7m)And in none of the 6 drops did the case open - even once.Really nice job from ESR, I would definitely recommend this case :)

Perfect fit for my 2nd Gen Pros. Looks good and functions exactly as advertised. QI charging is maintained with the case in situ, magnetic closure is better than the original case. I have had the original case slip from my pocket when sat down, the extra bulk and 'grippyness' of the ESR case prevents this from happening. Highly recommended.

I wanted a case that was more robust that the silicon skin types that are readily available and after a lot of back and forth this looked a good choice in terms of cost and functionality. It is exactly what I wanted and does a great job.The first thing to note is that the case does not have its own hinge, it relies on the hinge of the Airpod case, so the lid is held on by an adhesive pad - you get a spare pad too. The case material itself is a nice tough slightly rubberised plastic, it has a nice feel and has lots of texture so won't be slippery to hold like the Airpod case itself. The next thing is that all the case features are still exposed, the LED, the speaker and microphone and there's a decent gap around the charging socket. It does cover the lanyard hole, but provides a separate carabiner for that purpose. I believe the lanyard hole may also be an aerial of some description, so no idea if that is impacted as a result if it is.The magnets on the lid are great, there's a really solid connection and it requires a reasonable amount of effort to open, so no accidental opening of the lid anymore when in a bag or pocket. The magnets on the back are perfectly positioned for Apple's Magsafe charger that you would use for your iPhone. There are no magnets to use an Apple Watch wireless charger, although it still will charge the Airpods through the case if you use one, just it's not fixed in place.It also comes with a very useful release tool that uses the lightning charger socket to push the Airpod case out of the ESP case. I haven't tried it myself, because experience tells me cases never go back quite as well as the first time they are used, but this could be different given it's a specific tool and the case is very robust.Finally, I did also get a cleaning brush which was not mentioned in the description that I saw, so that was a very pleasant bonus.

The quality of product is very nice, good finishing as well. Comes with magnetic locking so that the buds don’t fly away even if you accidentally drop the case. Fit is very good and compatible with magsafe .

This is for my son's AirPods. Since I bought them for him, he had dropped the case several times when he tried to take it out of his pocket. The case lid opened each time, and the earbuds bounced off to the ground. It was a matter of time before he would lose the earbuds. So, I bought this case for him. It secures the lid closed with an additional magnet, which is great. He likes the design of the case. I can highly recommend it!

Got the case two days ago and by far no issues what so ever. It does good job. It doesn’t make the AirPods case too bulky tbf. And for the money spent it’s worth it. Protection wise I would say it seems trustworthy and if dropped I don’t thing there will be any damage over the the AirPods or the Apple case. Installing was easy and on plus you do get the sticky bit on the lid of the protecting case which means the lid won’t start coming off at some point in the next months or so. And it’s easy to put in and out of your pockets as the material doesn’t drag onto your pockets as some other similar looking materials are so it’s comfy to use.

This product is great, the case has some magnets on it so you can put the case on a surface and not worry about it. Ok fair enough I did forget where I had the case but have an AirTag on a keychain that allowed me to find it. LolGreat case, sturdy, and great features, like the idea of a sticky pad in the lid so it does not come off (if did not have it. It would fall off). Case it 2 parts but is still a great case.

I love this product - I love it so much this is the second one I have bought. I had the original AirPods2 and now the newer AirPods 2 and both are protected by this case. It's sturdy and tough and the carabiner is ideal for clipping onto your belt.It allows for wireless charging through the case so you don't have to worry about that either. If you drop it you don't have to be frantic as the case gives great protection.Overall the case is well thought out and of the quality I have come to expect from ESR products.

I purchased this ESR case for my AirPods Pro 2. The fit is nice and snug and looks very stylish. Durability is pretty good too. I did have the adhesive wear off at the top where the lid is. I contacted ESR customer service and they were very kind and sent me a free replacement case!!!I’ve purchased many ESR products before and this experience has solidified the fact that I will continue to buy their high quality products and enjoy their great customer service!
