I've been using the Viconor Red Light Therapy Torch for my knee and hand pain, and it's been a surprisingly effective tool. The device is easy to use, and the handheld design makes it super convenient to target specific areas. I really like that it offers five different wavelengths and pulsed modes, so I can customize the treatment depending on how intense my pain is. After a few sessions, I’ve noticed a difference in how my joints feel—less stiffness and more mobility. It’s become a go-to for quick relief and is small enough to use anywhere. I was disappointed that I did not receive the hardshell case advertised on the Amazon product page; the device comes with a vinyl bag and has a charger, extra battery, and protection glasses. This product is a third of the price of comparable devices, but it has worked well for me so far.

Very powerful. It comes with two large rechargeable batteries, has eight different modes depending on need, all items appear to be good quality, instructions are well written. My power button failed after some time apparently due to pushing too hard on it and damaging a micro switch. It wasn't difficult to disassemble the top and reposition the elements in the switch for it to function again.

UPDATE: I added a star because you do get used to the button after a while. The light works so well I'd give it 6 stars, but that button really is bad. What were they thinking??!!? The good thing is that it's sturdy, and it is still working after many months of heavy use. Maybe another button design wouldn't last as long. Good stuff first. I’ve been doing RLT around the clock for a few weeks, and have tried several brands and form factors. I have to say, I love the light frequencies on this one best. It's the only one I've found with a 940nm lamp. Comfytemp comes closest. It's extremely powerful. It relieves pain faster and penetrates deeper than any other similar device I've used. I like that it's bright enough to shine at a wall and get the calming effect of the red light or the wakening effects of the blue. It also feels very well made. It's heavy, at least. I don't know if the parts are durable yet. (They are! After many months is user, everything still works great!) But it has two huge flaws. First, there's no setting for Red and Near Infrared together without the blue light. The blue light combined with the other 4 frequencies is really great for pain relief and it does bring down inflammation really well. It stimulated drainage and reduced edema of the ENT area beyond anything I would have expected. But without being able to use just the RLT/NILT, I can't use it on my face and sinuses without concern for my eyes. RLT is also great for the gums and mouth, but, again, this is very noticeable in the eyes, and the blue light concerns me. Technically, it shouldn't penetrate far enough for it to harm the eye from the oral cavity, but I notice that using it on my skull does not make me as drowsy and relaxed with blue light in the mix, so I'm playing it safe around the eyes. I have a low powered unit with 3 of the 4 desired frequencies (630, 660, 850–900 NM) that I use on my face and eyes because I notice a great improvement in my vision almost immediately, but I wish I could just have one tool. It's just poor planning to not allow the red and near infrared to work together without blue light. Of course, you can do 10 minutes of RLT, then 10 minutes of NILT, but it takes twice as long and doesn't seem to work as well when done separately. Not ideal, but I can work around it. And the button design is beyond horrible. I don't know why it's not sunk into the body of the torch or on the back end like every other similar product. It protrudes 1/8" (5 mm) out the side of the torch. If you put it in the sleeve it comes with, it will turn itself on with the slightest movement. Just the elasticity of the sleeve will turn it on. So I put it in a hard case that's the perfect size for it. But if it rolls inside or is moved at all, the light comes on. So you really can't take it anywhere unless you remove the battery, which is time consuming because they really built it tough. And then you have to carry the battery around. I was hoping for something I could carry in my briefcase or pocket without it turning on and running down the battery for ten minutes. When using it, it's also WAY too easy to accidentally touch the button and change modes, so I'm constantly having to cycle back to the mode I want. I did get used to this over time, but they put it in the such a bad place that no matter how careful I am, I still bump it from time to time. I'll notice after a minute that it isn't fully treating the area because of the flash setting. (A totally useless leftover from the days when this was done with coherent, low-temperature lasers. Flashing would allow for longer therapy times without tissue damage from the laser. This is not a concern with incoherent, LED lights. It just means you're getting half the light you normally would and it's a deprecated feature. If there was any other product out there with this amazing combination of light frequencies near this price, I would have returned this item over the button, but now I don't know what is do without it!

The overall item is good and works well. But I am giving this a three because it does not include the hard carrying case. It comes in a cardboard box. Which is not very useful and breaks down easily. The on/off button is easily triggered and turns on if it rolls on the table, so it has to be carried in a hard case. When I contacted the company, they said because of costs they discontinued the caring case. I was offered a $10 compensation, then never heard from them again. If you don't need to travel with the light and you're ok with not getting what you think you're paying for, then it's a good light. There are similar lights that do come with what you are paying for though.

This device is sturdy but easily can be held to pin point the spot for red light therapy. I appreciate this set coming with 2 batteries and a case. I have not tested this for 3 weeks yet however I can feel improvement in my knee immediate after use. Recommendation is 3 times a day for 6 minutes. This is easy to squeeze into my day. I plan to bring this with when I travel. I feel this will be beneficial to my pain management.
