Awesome Alternative to Hacking at a Coconut with a Knife
:-) Update: It's been a year and it's still going strong! If you are a coconut-lover, get this!Original review:Easy to clean and use. For harder coconuts (or long-term use) it might not be strong enough because after two months of on-off use I started noticing the metal part is no longer as tightly fastened within the plastic handle as it was originally, but overall it has made opening coconuts much easier and much more of a pleasure and I am still using it. The reusable straw was a pleasant surprise--it was basically an "add-on" I knew was there but didn't anticipate would get used. Nope! It gets used as much as the opener tool. Overall, excellent.If you are purchasing this as a gift, be prepared to do some repackaging...the metal straw especially lacked any packaging what-so-ever, making it look a bit like you were giving someone something out of your kitchen drawer instead of a brand-new product and the prices were written on the packaging for the tool. That said, if you are looking for a gift for someone who loves to drink from coconuts, this is an excellent choice!

Worked fine, but the Opener is not stainless steel
Worked fine, but the Opener is not stainless steel; started rusting in just 2nd use. :(the tips are full of rust now

The drill never works!
It doesn’t work as supposed to be! Even you press hard on the coconut shell, it won’t go through! I just wasted money on a piece of garbage.

Just doesn't work
It's not strong enough or sharp enough for the job. Trashed it trying to use it, and threw it in the trash after using it.
