A neighbor’s cats were congregating on my porch, constantly setting off the SimpliSafe outdoor camera. Therefore, the notifications on my phone were sounding day and night, which was bothersome, and the outdoor camera battery was being drained quickly (with so much activity). The Cat Mace spread on the porch and around the porch area in the mulch did not curb the cat activity on the porch at all.Update: I was contacted by the company, and they will be refunding my purchase cost PLUS sending me the stronger liquid version free of charge. That tells you all you need to know about the integrity of this small business.

Tried multiple applications and the neighborhood cats still roam onto my porch. Constant notifications from my camera of animal activity, even less then an hour after application. The product is an eyesore to humans more then it is a smell deterrent to cats.

Used if a few times around our backyard fence where they kept jumping and coming in at and other areas they were coming in our back yard. The smell is not nasty to us but is to the cats. After about 3 applications, no more cats. You have to reapply a few times due to rain washing it away and for their memory, but it worked for us.

Does not work. Had zero effect on the cats to stay away. However, customer support reached out after this review and advised that the liquid concentrate should have better results, which they are sending me at no charge. Excellent customer service.

I bought this product because we have a cat that keeps coming through our property and marking our vehicles (especially mine!). I spread some of the product around the driveway, and in front of my car (the cat's favorite place to mark). The second day after doing that, I watched the cat on our security camera as he walked right across the product, and marked my car! So, after cleaning off the front of my car, I put even more of the product out. The next night...same thing! Needless to say, I pretty much lost faith in the product, swept it off the driveway, and poured the rest of it out on the other side of the driveway. I just got finished watching that cat walk right through what I poured out, and through the driveway like it was nothing.I think that it may work better on people instead of cats, because the mix of smells this product has is absolutely disgusting! I tried to work out in my garage after spreading it out on the driveway, and i wanted to puke! It took a couple of days before I was able to deal with the smell.Overall, I would not recommend wasting your money on this product. I'm actually going to try an ultrasonic animal repeller. I really hope it works, so I don't have to go with the "nuclear option."2/11/21 update - As if what I wrote above isn't bad enough...I washed my car today, and got the stuff that I poured out beside my driveway wet. It smelled like I was standing in the middle of a chickenhouse. Now, for those of you who don't know what a chickenhouse smells like...trust me, you don't want to know!!! Sadly, I won't be able to get rid of what is spread out without completely digging out the areas and disposing of it. Gee, can't wait until it rains! <sarcasm>

Ordered this product on the recommendation of our neighbors. We have a lot of feral cats in our neighborhood causing damage under our homes.I didn't want "poison" as I'm an animal lover, but wanted something that would determine the cats from getting under my house. This product worked!I poured about 1/4 cup into a knee high stocking, tied it in a knot, and placed 1 in each corner under my home. I also sprinkled some around the perimeter, up against my house where my dogs don't walk. Haven't had a cat problem since! Would recommend for anyone having an issue with feral cats.

This doesn’t work for feral cats. They just push it aside.

After trying many products to keep cats out of the flower garden, we tried Cat Mace. This product worked after the first use. It’s been over a week and no feral cats have used the garden soil to poop/pee. This product worked as advertised.
