This is the 5th type of fountain I have tried for my cats & it is by far THE BEST. It is quiet, it holds a lot of water (about 6 and a half bottles of water for reference) it is so easy to take apart and clean. It is also stainless steel and thus not porous so bacteria doesn’t get into the material it is made out of (huge for me because I worry about my cats getting sick from old bacteria). It also has two spouts (a couple of my 5 cats like to drink directly from the spouts so it’s helpful to have two) it is also the easiest fountain to assemble when it comes in - takes about 15 seconds, and because it is worth repeating… it is so quiet. I have great hearing and it doesn’t make a sound. I loved it so much I bought two more. I’m planning on one more. This is by far the best value for the money. I almost never write reviews & only do so if something is worth my time to write about (and when I do - it’s usually a cat product lol)

I had a little 1.5L one that is trash compared to this. I have 3 cats and I was constantly having to refill it, and after breaking one of the parts I decided to take a chance on this beast and I was quite impressed. The motor is very elaborate and everything is super sturdy and good quality. I was frankly hesitant to spend $40 on a cat water fountain (it even sounds absurd to me) but when I received it, as I was setting it up, I completely felt like I got my money’s worth. And it is incredibly quiet. The motor makes zero noise and there isn’t even a water falling or swishing sound. I like that there are two filters, one that goes inside the motor and another around it. I feel like it’s better going to filter any cat hair or debris that falls in. That and the large size makes me feel at ease because I don’t have to attend to it every day or every other day, which was a constant source of anxiety for me with my old one that was so small with a crappy filter which ran out of water and collected cat hair so quickly. I haven’t had to wash this yet but it doesn’t appear that it’ll be much more trouble to clean than my old one, which is still better because the large size and good filters allow for more time in between maintenance. It even comes with a little brush to clean inside the motor. The only con for me is that you aren’t able to see the water level unless you take the lid off and look inside since it is all stainless steel- I wish it had a little window or something to see how much water is left. But overall, I definitely feel happy with my purchase and feel like it was super worth it. The photo included is of my cat literally 20 seconds after I plugged it in. A little later that day, cat #2 walked right up to it and began drinking as if it’s always been there. Cat #3 is an old lady that doesn’t like change and it took her about a year to begin using the first one we had, so I’m sure she will soon become accustomed to this one.

I recommend this fountain. You can't hear it making noise at all unless it's running low on water, and even then you just hear water, you never hear a motor or annoying humming/buzzing/etc. I usually fill it up all the way and don't need to touch it for about a week. I have two cats, and I think it suggests to clean it every two weeks, but I clean it every week and it's fast, like 5 minutes, and simple. You can also stretch use of the filter to last a little longer than the pamphlet says, as long as you rinse it out really well each time you clean the fountain. I can only think of two downsides:1. The little bottlebrush that comes with the fountain to clean the metal spout is too short; I had to use one I already had that came with some metal straws I bought a long time ago. Also, because of the bends in the spouts, even if you adjust the wire on the brush, you don't feel like you're getting it all the way clean, so I just rinse it thoroughly.2. The "nightlight" that is built in got super dim after a few weeks, but honestly, that light was just a surprise when I saw it and isn't very important to me, personally.TLDR; Insanely quiet unless low on water, effective, easy to clean (but do it more often than it suggests), buy a longer, straw-sized bottlebrush for cleaning spout. The nightlight gets dim after a few weeks but not even really worth mentioning. Great value!

I like that it is so quiet and very easy to use. I really wish the electrical cord could be unplugged at the fountain. It would be nice to hide the cord under a cart I have so it is not out where the cats can chew on it but I can’t cuz I would have to be able to pull the cart out to unplug the fountain from the wall. Better yet, if t would be great if it were battery operated so there is no electrical cord.

I was always very skeptical with cat fountains, mainly because of the sound or if my kittens would only use it to play instead of drink and end up cleaning water everywhere. But no!1. It is totally silent (I was surprised), the only thing you can hear is the calming sound of water falling if you're close to it.2. It looks so fancy compared to my old bowls lol.3. My kittens were curious and started putting their paws in it on the first day wanting to play with the water falling. I was discouraged thinking it was gonna be a mess, but the next day they're drinking from it normally (thank god). Be patient and let them time to adapt to it!4. I didn't want to use the mat that came with it because hair and dirt sticks to it. I use a towel instead.5. It works perfectly and it's easy to use. I highly recommend for any cat owner!

The media could not be loaded. I'd been looking for a new fountain for my pets for a long while, and I'm so glad I settled on this one! The pump is pretty much silent, so you only hear a gentle trickle of water which is so soothing! The double tap function is great, my cat prefers drinking out a tap so he loves that this one's always on! My puppy learned how to drink from the taps in no time too! Huge capacity, good quality steel so it stays cleaner for longer and no risk of micro plastics going into your pets! Definitely 100% recommend!
