Dental Floss Holder for Teeth with Metal Screw Fastener Made from Food Grade Material 2 Pack

**My review seems to show on multiple products. It was specifically meant for Eco-friendly less more dental floss set (holder with dispenser/stand + refill floss rolls)**As a dentist, I feel obligated to review this product. I prefer floss picks over traditional floss and frequently recommend them to patients for various reasons, but I am haunted by the amount of plastic that is goes to waste. As such, I have made it a resolution to find a reusable product that I like and can recommend instead of ordinary floss picks.I am on week two of using this product, so I cannot speak to long-term value yet, but so far, so good. The stand is decently sturdy and the product looks elegant on the countertop (I ordered Ivory). The handle is pretty thick plastic and takes decent force to flex.The floss is similar to glide. I personally don't enjoy glide style floss, but I know many who do, so that's nice for them. For those like me who have another preferred floss, it would not be hard to load your own floss into this dispenser. When I run out of the four rolls this came with, I will wrap my own floss on the bobbin.At first, I had trouble knowing how much floss I needed to dispense to minimize waste. If the manufacturer reads this, I'd suggest marking the floss every so many inches like Quip does.The instructions pictures (minimal words) are not super clear how to wrap the floss but it only takes a couple tries to figure out the best way to wrap to keep the floss tight. I wrap several times with one end and several times with the other, then tighten the screw. Seems to work for me so far.The thing I really wish were different on this product though is the angle. It's a very gentle curve. I would like to see a curve that is closer to a 90 degree angle. I didn't think much of the curve, I actually thought the fact that it wasn't so curved made it look more modern and unique, but when I started using it, it was all I can think about. I have a normal range of opening and struggle to reach my back teeth with this angle. I've gotten more and more used to it, but my TMJ certainly still feels strained after using the product. I cannot imaging how folks with limited range of opening do with it. A tighter angle such as the 90 degree angle of a standard floss pick would be helpful.Overall, I'm impressed and will continue using for now.

I love this! The size is perfect and it feels substantial. Don’t unscrew the knob too much, or it’ll go flying off! The trick is to wrap it twice in the beginning and end, then it won’t budge. I use it with Cocofloss. I may get another set!

The hole on the stand in which the floss supposed to go through is too tiny. Making the stand almost pointless. It does the job though in everything else.

I struggle with flossing but also with wasting a bunch of plastic from the one use flossers. This is easy to use and less waste. I just learned to rotate the floss in the same direction that the fastener twists and it works great! I also really like the angle a lot better then those other flossers.

Pretty awesome little tool. Works better then other similar products at a cheaper price. It’s simple and pretty easy to use. Surprising even how well it holds the floss. I’m about to get more so I have one where ever I need it.It takes very little floss to use and it goes a long way. You can easily floss with one hand and with out needing to put any hands in your mouth like regular flossing. Definitely gonna bring mine with me when I go camping.The floss dispenser/stand is great too. It holds plenty of floss and keeps the flosser up and off of surfaces, though I personally probably won’t use it has a stand. From a visual perspective the flosser in the floss stand is not the most appealing to look at, and will likely just be thrown in a bag or drawer. All in all, I highly recommend this product!

Wanted to like it, wanted something to replace previous floss holder but this was worse for me. Just couldn’t get it to hold tension on floss and even when it would hold for a few attempts of flossing it would snap the floss early or come undone. Figured something with a screw down to hold the floss would have made easy work of applying tension but honestly just never held for more than few teeth before needing attention. Tried to love it, in the end went back to old faithful that works much better with less hassle.

Took me 2-3 weeks to figure these out. But once I did, they work well! It also doesn’t work well with all types of floss. The flat oral-b floss doesn’t work at all, it’s too slick. I found some more round and rough floss that works really well. I’m glad I could replace the disposable floss picks with this.

The media could not be loaded.  Floss remains tight throughout and after use. Takes a bit of time getting use to at first. What helped me was when I started flossing in a top-down direction. This motion is so much easier to do rather than side to side. My teeth feel like they've had a thorough clean. Added bonus is that the flosser is eco friendly as the only thing thrown away is the floss.

The handle is strong and high quality with a pleasing colour. The floss itself seems good, two large rolls provided with a neat dispenser. Bit fiddly to get set up, but works exactly as described. Avoids the struggle of using hands to floss back teeth!

Trying to move away from the disposable flossette type of flossing due to the waste produced, this seemed like a great product for me. On arrival the packaging was reasonable and easy to deal with / recycle. The floss holder seems pretty good and I have been using it for a about a month now. I can get to all teeth with it and it is comfortable enough. Putting the floss into the dispenser and setting it up for use was fine and it came with three small reels of floss. the flossette / holder can sit in the holder, so it might work well in a bathroom cabinet, but I have mine kicking around my desk at home so i dont use that feature. Using the dispenser to put the floss on the flosser is a little tricky to keep it neat and minimise wastage, but its okay. in use the flosser is fine, I find I hold the screw in place and tighten it up every now and then to keep the floss tight. however the floss itself is not good for me. where my flossettes would last for a ages with a little fraying this band type floss can break on first use. I am REALLY happy with the flossette / holder itself but the floss is not good for me. I will be buying some more floss from another brand. Would be nice to get the holder alone.

My original review is below. This is a great product but I would advise against giving the company your contact details when you write a review so you can receive the two 'free' spools of floss. The floss was never received but what I *have* received since sharing my contact details with them is a huge rise in spam emails.I've been looking for a way to stop using daily flossers for ages as I want to stop wasting so much plastic, this product is the ideal way of doing so. Once the floss included has run out I will also be using one of the biodegradable flosses on the market too. My conscience has been eased!

I had started using the disposable pick style flossers and thought this would be a more sustainable product than using them.The Y-shaped tool is brilliant. Being wider makes it so much easier to angle it right (I say this having a small mouth, which doesn't make a lot of sense).The base the tool sits on, which holds the floss, is a nightmare to set up but once that's done it works great. I had to use a sewing threader to get the floss through the hole.The floss they give you is terrible with the tool. Its ribbon thickness doesn't load easily and gets caught up in the tool screw mechanism. Thankfully other thinner brands work excellently. It just means that the few rolls of tape floss they give you aren't a great experience
