## Overview

The ViSang VS-R02 InEar Hi-fi Noise Isolation Ear-Buds feature a 10.7mm dynamic driver, delivering exceptional sound quality with a frequency range of 20 to 20,000Hz. With an impedance of 20 ohms and a sensitivity of 112dB, these earbuds provide a powerful audio experience while ensuring comfort and noise isolation.

## Description

Visang R02 is an earphone with equilibration. The high, medium, and low frequency distribution is average. It works well and grabbed a frequency and not to influence another frequency. The sound is up, good clean and fresh. This earphone sound great for the price. Their sound quality easily compares with products costing 2-3 times as much. Isolation and comfort levels are also very good.A budget-oriented version of their upmarket R03 offering. Like its big brother, the R02 offers deep and natural-sounding bass, a warm midrange, and crisp treble due to the 10.7mm dynamic driver. The metal nozzles and a Cu-Ag alloy cable ensure longevity. A uniquely patterned cable sheath provides flexibility and reduces cable contact noise while keeping the cord from tangling and reducing snags. The wide variety of included ear cushions means everyone will be able to find one that sounds, fits, and isolates best. Whether you are an audiophile on a budget or a casual listener, the ViSang R02 will help you enjoy your tunes in a whole new way.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I'm searching for a new pair of buds to replace my apple standard pods. How do these compare?**
A: Seriously, you are going to ask yourself, why it took you so long to replace those buds. Keep on mind there is a burn in period (mine sounded funky at first, as all drivers do, but after about 60 hours they started to sing). And for the price? They can't be beat. You will find yourself having a new sound experience even re-listening to your fav jams.

    Great budge IEM

*by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2012*

Efficient IEM, with great build quality and light weight. I purchased these in lieu of the Brainwavz M2 model because I wanted to wear these to the gym and heard reports of bad fit with that particular IEM while moving about. I am not displeased with the fit (or sound) or the R02. While I have not been able to create what feels air tight seal with the provided tips, I have not had problems with these falling out while moving, nor have I heard much in the way of outside noise (though this, as always, is relative, and will vary from user to user). After the initial burn-in, these seem to have worn off the harsh edges and come as described, with a smooth delivery and `fun' sound signature. One head-fi forum review has described these as 90% of the sound of the Brainwavz M2, and that seems like an accurate description to me, based on what I have read. The R02 throws a much wider sound stage than the Meelectronics M11+ I was using previously, and seem far more open by comparison. Even poorly recorded source material from my Gen. 5 iPod seem to have more pomp and drive added. If I was being downright fickle, I might say that the mids sound a touch recessed on certain tracks, adding a slight airiness that the M2 might make up for in the $25.00 price difference. But this is not a pair of Dynaudios we are listening to here; it is an affordably priced IEM, being driven by an iPod with, mostly, crap MP3 files. All in all, not too bad for an in ear that provides adequate bass and clean overall sound, which is largely non-fatiguing.

    Great stuff.

These headphones are certainly not the greatest sound headphones you'll ever stick in your ears, but for the price they're great. Matter of fact, I would have gladly paid twice the price I did ($34 USD) for headphones that sound this good. The sound signature is what I would describe as warm so, no, these aren't going to be the most detailed IEMs, but they're more fun that most. For casual listening, these will definitely do the job. If you're used to Skullcandy's or twenty dollar buds, do yourself a favor and pick up a pair of these. The difference will blow your mind. Again, the sound quality isn't amazing, but these are relatively great sounds headphones. I can't think of any headphones in this same price range that sound as good as these. They come with a pretty sweet accessories package, too, complete with a semi-hard carry case and a good selection of tips. Definitely recommended. As a side note, my pair arrived with a bad connection down in the L-Jack. I'm not sure if this is indicative of build quality or not, but we'll see. I'm fairly certain I just got a slightly defective pair. Overall, the headphones look and feel very study, and they should stand up to a good amount of abuse. But, like all IEMs, be gentle with them. They're not designed to be indestructible.

    Solid option for the money!

*by J***M on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2012*

The Sony h.ear clip-on headphones I'd had for about two years finally died, and I decided I'd like to upgrade. After checking out reviews on head-fi I decided the Visang would give the most bang for the buck. I'd also looked at getting the HiFiMan RE0, but decided I just couldn't justify the extra money for it. But never mind that, let's get back to the Visang.First, the packaging and included accessories arrived exactly as they were pictured. No ziplock baggies instead of boxes, or missing ear tips like I sometimes see with Chinese products purchased online. The carrying case is well built, and the earphones fit perfectly. The eartips are relatively easy to swap out, you just have to pinch the tops a little bit. I never felt I would damage the headphone or the ear tips during swapping. The cable is relatively stiff and thin, but not to the point it feels fragile. The cable also has a little bit of memory, but this actually makes it easier to loop over the ear. I would suggest looping over the ear if you plan to be running in these, especially in the wind. Really though, even unlooped the microphonics aren't bad, and by no means painful or overly intrusive (I've heard friends' Skull Candy buds and those are some of the worst!)As far as sound quality, I am pleased. The only odd thing is that when doing a pan test with my Nuforce test tracks, there is a dead spot in the sound stage. The sound just dips off into a trough just inside the far edges of the soundstage. So far I haven't noticed it during actual music, but that doesn't mean I won't. I found the bi-flange tip gave me the best fit, and created a fairly reasonable seal to give that bump in the bass. If you aren't getting a seal, your bass reproduction will be toast. The foam buds are my second choice, and quite obviously resemble the tips used on the JVC Marshmallow headphones. It is nice to have options. Comfort is actually the best I've had with an IEM, and I actually have fairly sensitive ear canals (I've actually had other IEM flanges and tips make me bleed.)So far, I am satisfied and really don't believe there is a better option for the money. I'll update if any of my experience changes, but everything seems to be in good order.
