Long-Lasting/Reliable Battery packs
I recently purchased the AFBPTEK 2 Pack Xbox Rechargeable Battery Pack for my Xbox Series X and Xbox One Elite controllers, and I’m absolutely thrilled with this product! This play and charge kit is a fantastic addition to my gaming setup, offering seamless functionality and impressive performance. The 1400mAh capacity batteries deliver up to 30 hours of gameplay on a single charge, which is perfect for extended gaming sessions. As a casual gamer who doesn’t play often anymore, I find the battery life to be exactly as described—I rarely need to charge the batteries, making them incredibly convenient for my occasional gaming. They fully charge in just 3 hours, ensuring minimal downtime when I do need a recharge. The functionality of this kit is outstanding. The batteries are designed with a smart chip that provides overcharge, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection, giving me peace of mind during use. The plug-and-play design makes swapping batteries or connecting the charger effortless, with a secure fit that doesn’t wobble or disconnect during gameplay. I also love the versatility of charging options—you can charge the battery directly via its USB-C port or plug the cable into the controller, which is super convenient for uninterrupted play. The included 9-foot USB Type-C cable is a standout feature—made from durable, high-quality nylon braiding, it feels premium and is built to last if you are not rough with it. The length is perfect for my living room setup, allowing me to charge while playing without feeling restricted. The LED indicator on the cable is a thoughtful touch, clearly showing the charging status (amber for charging, white for fully charged), which adds to the user-friendly experience. These battery packs are compatible with a wide range of controllers, including Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One/S/X, and Elite, making them incredibly versatile. They fit perfectly, are easy to install, and maintain a strong connection during use. The batteries themselves feel sturdy and well-made, and I haven’t experienced any issues with overheating or performance drops, even after extended play. For the price, this 2-pack is an excellent value, saving me from constantly buying AA batteries. The combination of reliable battery life, robust safety features, and the exceptional 9-foot USB cable makes this a must-have for any Xbox gamer, especially casual players who want dependable, long-lasting power without frequent recharging. Highly recommend the AFBPTEK kit for anyone looking to elevate their gaming experience with top-notch functionality!

Great Alternative to Official Plug and Play
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Working great so far! One dead pack out of 4, and was swiftly replaced. I know lithium cells sometimes die in storage, so I find it hard to fault the manufacturer. Got them on sale and gifted everyone I know that has an Xbox controller one.

Good value, nice features. (Still putting it through rigors.)
Bought this to replace a first-party Xbox Charge & Play battery. Decided to give a third-party option a chance.I picked this brand because it works exactly like the official kit; conveniently recharges internally via the controller's integrated USB-C port. Unlike most other third-party battery packs, there is no need to swap anything out: no specialized charging dock, no specialized battery port cover or other adapters. The option to charge the battery pack directly (without a controller or dock) isn't something I would need, but it's a nice feature to have. The included cable was also a nice bonus.Very good quality build. Feels & weighs the same as the first-party battery by Microsoft. Looks exactly the same, aside from branding and the additional USB port on the third-party battery. My official Xbox Charge & Play battery lasted 13 months with heavy use before it fatigued to the point it wouldn't work. For a two-pack at this price, I would expect at least six months of life out of each battery. But I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised.Even if these TWO batteries last as long as a ONE first-party battery, this is a good value-- especially if you need two packs for two controllers. Certainly less expensive & more convenient than buying single-use AA batteries or swapping out other rechargeable cells.Five stars so far. I will update my review when the first pack has run its course, or if something goes wrong.

Works with my Xbox X controllers - Charging cable that was included doesn’t work exactly right
Works with my two Xbox x controllers. Not sure if it was just me but I was wondering when I ordered if the controllers back covers fit over the batteries and close, since all the pictures didn’t show a back cover on. Well they do if anyone other than me was wondering about that lol (I feel kind of silly that I was confused about that but oh well! Haha)Don’t know about the charging cable that was included though. I will plug it into the battery and it will show an “amber” color which means charging and is supposed to turn white when fully charged but after a few hours of charging it still was amber. Put the battery into my controller and it said it was fully charged on my xbox so it did actually charge fully. Tried it with the other battery and same thing happened, light always stayed on amber. I tried using another charger cable I have that does the same thing, has a light that will glow red when charging and turn blue when charged. When I plugged it into the battery it started flashing from red to blue so that confused me even more! But the batteries seem to work fine so far so I’m not too worried about it, I just charge it for a few hours then check on my Xbox if it’s charged all the way (they always are after a couple hrs of charging). These two have so far worked out and I like how I can just plug one straight into the charger while using the other one then swap and recharge when needed.I’d totally recommend these if you just don’t want to pay extra for an Xbox brand one and you get two for basically one of theirs which is awesome.Just minus 1 star over the charger cable that was included not exactly working right.

Work great, no extra parts needed!
These work great for my Xbox controllers. I have tried a bunch of diff batteries with different charging methods, but so far I like these the most. Just plug into a reg USBC cable and done! No charging base to worry about!Full charge seems to last me for over a week of dad-level playtime.
