Good 5G CPE for Dual‑SIM Use and Stable Speeds
This router has been mostly reliable in daily use. I experienced a few small hiccups during setup, but once configured, the 5G connection stayed stable and the WiFi 6 coverage performed well across multiple devices. The dual‑SIM feature works as expected and adds flexibility. Overall, it delivers consistent performance for a 5G CPE in this price range.

Great 5G Sim Card router, can Cellular service.
I recently purchased this Cudy 5G Cellular capable router., and I'm happy to share my thoughts on it. The product arrived in good condition and was well-packaged. The Cudy 5g router is designed for use with either standard internet service or a Sim Card normally used for a Cell phone. This Router Has the ability to get fast 5G ultra wide band. So I get very fast internet using my Cellular carrier Sim card. One of the standout features of this product is just that i use a sim card. I found it particularly useful because my internet is faster as well as this is portable for on the road internet. On the downside, the Sim Card setup process was a bit complicated. These issues didn't prevent me from using the product, but they are worth noting for potential buyers. Overall, I would recommend this Cudy 5G Sim Router to for people looking for a reliable and affordable solution to traveling internet. It has met my expectations and I believe it would be a good fit for home, or RVs. If you're considering purchasing this product, I encourage you to read other reviews as well, as individual experiences can vary. I hope my feedback helps you make an informed decision.

Great 5G Router with Useful Advanced Controls (TTL & Band Lock)
I’ve been using this Cudy P5 mainly as a backup internet solution, and it has honestly been more capable than I expected — especially if you’re comfortable tweaking network settings. Setup was straightforward: insert the SIM, power it on, and it connected to 5G within a minute. The web interface is clean and easy to navigate, even for basic setup. Where this router really stands out is in the advanced features. The system actually gives you access to things like TTL adjustment and band locking, and both are implemented with a clear, visual interface instead of buried command-line settings. That makes it much easier to fine-tune your connection depending on your carrier and signal conditions. For example, being able to lock specific 5G/LTE bands helps stabilize the connection in areas where the router might otherwise jump between weaker signals. The TTL setting is also useful for certain use cases, and it’s nice that it can be configured directly in the UI without extra workarounds. In terms of performance, speeds are noticeably better than a typical phone hotspot. Streaming, video calls, and large downloads have all been stable in my testing. It’s not going to replace fiber, but it’s definitely reliable enough to act as a backup or even a temporary primary connection. WiFi coverage has also been solid. In a mid-size home, the signal reaches most rooms without major drop-offs, and the external antennas seem to help with consistency. A couple of minor notes: • It does run a bit warm after extended use (nothing concerning, just noticeable) • Carrier compatibility will depend on your area, so it’s worth checking supported bands beforehand Overall, this is a strong option if you want more than just a basic plug-and-play 5G router. The combination of stable performance and user-accessible advanced controls makes it especially appealing for people who like having more control over their network.

Does it's job
I don't use too many of the more advanced features, but it does its basic job well. I've got it connected to U.S. Cellular on their home Internet plan and it works great. I can confirm it connects with U.S. Cellular 5G, but I'm too far away to maintain a reliable 5G connection, so I keep it on LTE. Mounted where it is, it gets 5GHz WiFi signal to everywhere in my house with very little signal drops. I setup static IP routes to do IP routing to different segments of my network (NAT only to the Internet) and it works like a charm. My only complaint is that the wired ports no longer work after a lightning storm, but that actually speaks well to the device's resilience. The ports are dead, but the rest of the router still works great.

3 days of my life wasted
My business is very internet strength necessary. I purchased this device to increase my internet speed and reception in rural areas based of YT videos and other people in my field using the Cudy routers. They all had very easy setups and great results even using Verizon Sim cards. I took my Verizon Sim card out of the working hotspot i had and put it my new Cudy. I followed the directions that came with it but it never connected to the internet. Diagnostics would say not connected to 4G. I reached out to Cudy and they sent me an article with instructions. I followed the instructions that told me to change certain settings but the result was the same. I emailed the results to Cudy with screenshots but never got a return email. There also isnt a US based named for for tech support. I contacted Verizon to see if the Sim card was locked to their device and that is not the case. They ran a test and says it appears that the Cudy router does not support the Verizon service. I can reinsert the Sim card back into my mobile hotspot and it works fine. I really had high hopes for this device and have done hours of research on this but can't figure out the issue. Without tech support from Cudy, I can't tell if I've done something wrong or have a defective device. So, I'll return the device and try something different direction. Tips: tech support for this device is next to nothing. Don't expect support from this company.

Working without issue for about 9 months
I purchased this specifically for use with a T-Mobile business 5G connection. The only significant difference between the T-Mobile consumer and T-Mobile business connection is that the business connection will allow you to implement port forwarding. But the road to port forwarding is fraught with poor tech support and misinformation from T-Mobile. None of the devices provided by T-Mobile will get you to port forwarding in any way that is remotely practical. All of them require an account with the device manufacturer that T-Mobile will not allow you to have. Their non-solution is that you submit any setup changes you need to T-Mobile then T-Mobile submits those changes to the manufacturer. They throw an extra wrench into the process by not having you submit your changes to tech support. You submit your changes to the salesperson you placed your order with. If the salesperson does not make the changes within 72 hours, which inevitably is the case, you can then submit your changes to tech support. which takes an additional 72 hours if it happens at all. Usually it does not happen. The only practical way around this is to get your own device. Though, bear in mind, T-Mobile will not support 3rd party devices. I use the Cudy AX-3000 device. After a year it is still performing well (as well as the limits of T-Mobile will allow). It's been pretty much setup and forget for the Cudy. I have the device pass all traffic straight to a pfSense based router I built but the Cudy could probably do everything I do on the pfSense device. It has a full set of features and a good web-based GUI. I do port forwarding and VPN and a static IP (which costs extra with T-Mobile but is required to allow port forwarding). So 5 stars to Cudy for working every day of the last 9 months with no trouble or dropouts.

Cuddy is a home run
Update using this as my main WIFI LTE router in our 5th wheel. With my 4x4 mimo antenna on the campers ladder we get wifi everywhere we go. While in motion and while in campgrounds with trees too. Most the time the speads are 150Mbps to 200Mbps. More than enough for stream TV and internet usage with PC's. We use it as our back up when were home also. It has never let us down. This is my 2nd router for the camper. Went from a 4G to a 5G router and I also have one I use with our Star Link. It's faster than the Star link router. Very simple gui to use with all of it for fast easy set up. Cuddy makes great products.

Excellent product!
I initially purchased the Cudy LT500 and promptly returned it. I gambled and purchased the P5 model which costs a lot more but is also a newer product with an updated chipset. This router works perfect and with very little setup. If you do need help the Cudy support team answers emails in a timely manner and they seem very nice, knowledgeable and eager to assist. In my case I had a 5G SIM card that wasn't connecting to the AT&T 5G network initially. I took the SIM out of the router, put it back in the phone and let it connect to the 5G network. I ran some speed tests on the phone and then inserted it back into the P5 router. It connected right away. Setting up my home network is easy and if you need them, there are several good YT videos out there regarding setup by Couch Potato Cafe. If you live in an area that has decent 4G/5G signals then you will not be disappointed in this product as it delivers blazing fast speeds. I have it in my basement and still get good wifi coverage in the far reaches of the second floor. Thank you Cudy team!
