It's certainly no memory foam cloud mattress padding, it's more like basic cushion. Not much, really, but it's better than raw strap, I guess. It will do as replacement but it's probably not going to add anything more than the original cushions had, maybe even less.

I ordered these pads to attach to the waist strap on a tactical backpack that I have, which I wish had come with a padded hip belt. These add marginal comfort to the waist strap.The pads are 8.5-inches long and 2.6-inches wide, but barely a 1/4” thick. The portion that wraps around a strap is 6-inches long and they are very secure after affixed to a strap.Once added to my pack, they did add some comfort, as the waist strap did not cut into my waist any longer, but the added comfort was marginal because of lightly padded these pads are and how much they compress; they must have an open cell foam that is not very dense. I question how long these will last and if the foam inside will break down and become much thinner over time.At only fifteen bucks they are not bad, but I was expecting a little more padding. As long as you know what to expect if you order these, then I would consider these to be a good purchase.

I got these strap pads because I carry an EDC bag with a single shoulder strap, and it tends to dig in, and be uncomfortable.So, I thought these pads would help. They are easy to attach, using a Velcro strip running along the length of the pad that you just wrap around the strap and close the Velcro strips over each other.This is a 2 piece set, so you can put them on a regular 2 strap backpack or 2 single strap bags, or, you could even use these to pad your car seatbelts if you want.They are a great idea, but get marked down 1 star for being a little stingy on padding, and by not feeling very heavy duty. They definitely help, but they could have made these a little better quality, and put more padding. But they definitely improve my bag carrying comfort, so they are still worth using.I hope this helps. Thanks for reading and liking.

This pad is designed for shoulder straps on a backpack or a carrier. I bought it for use just on a single bag strap that is 2 inch in width. This pad fits perfectly. See the photo. Now I can carry this bag without the seatbelt strap cutting into my shoulders.These pads are good but not perfect. The mesh material on the back is coarse and likely to catch and tear with use. The foam inside is very thin. Again with use it will compress down. But I have two and I can just swap them as they wear out.

They didn't have enough padding to make a difference would have sent them back but forgot about it.

I ordered these for extra padding for my Badlands Diablo Dos hunting pack and have been pleasantly surprised by them. They have been on my pack for 14 days now and 11 of those days I have hauled it with 30 lbs in it to prepare for a whitetail hunt - and they have helped a decent amount.They fit the straps perfectly and provide enough extra padding to be noticeably more comfortable. They are not a super thick padding and I am not sure how long they will retain their comfort and give, but so far, they are definitely worth what I would have paid for them. These wrap around the shoulder harness and secure very well via velcro - they have not come off or come loose since the day I put them on.The one caution I would give is the make sure your pack straps are not too wide. Mine are 2 5/8" and these fit perfectly. You could probably get them around a 2 3/4" harness but anything wider and I wouldn't bet on it. Narrower is not a problem.If you want a little extra padding/comfort for long and/or heavy hauls, these will help.

Once I received it, I installed it on my fanny pack which I use as a sling. It feels amazing with enough padding wherein the strap/belt doesn't bite into your shoulder. It's easily installed with a Velcro flap. The dimensions are 3" x 6.5" with a 1/4" to 3/8" padding. It also comes with 3 Molle type of accessory attachment spots which are about 1.5" apart. The center one is elastic while the end ones are of nylon weave where you can attach items that you need which you need easily accessed. The materials are of 1000D with a waterproof backing. Overall, I enjoy the comfort that it puts on my shoulder. I figure if you need additional padding for your shoulders on backpack straps, this will definitely do it. Time will tell how long the inner padding will last with the amount of weight you carry in your bags.
