Hammer Lug Crimper Tool for 8 AWG - 0000 AWG Battery and Welding Cables

This tool works great, I used it to install a solar system that requires many terminal ends. This tool works great for small to large terminal ends, easy to use and puts a V shaped crimping force that pinch the wire in a way that holds and gives maximum strength. It is made of hardened steel and will hold up over time! I recommend this tool.

Use it daily to install stereo equipment

This tool is fairly small in size but sturdy built. This will work as advertised to crimp and secure ends on wires. I made several crimps for wiring on a winch install, 4 gauge wire and eyelets. It's compact size is a plus and a negative. It's small enough to hold with one hand while striking it to make the crimp. The negative is because it's small size when using heavy 4 gauge wire the natural spring action of the wire wants to cause the crimper to move.

No problems other than what I wrote on the headline. Yes I would buy again.

There's nothing more frustrating than using the massive crimping tools that frequently have misaligned dies, especially after excessive use. I have yet to see one under $100 that lasts.Then there's this thing. It's never felt so good to use a hammer as a tool. It's consistent, and better than that it doesn't produce sharp edges on the crimp like so many crimpers do.I did break mine by using it recklessly. The spring for the lever popped out, but although I would consider it a mark against the product, it doesn't matter whether it has the spring or not. If anything now it's easier to remove a crimped cable.

Much less expensive and more compact than a hydraulic crimper. Did the job well on some 2awg cables I had to cut and make crimps on for a project
