The Electrifying Adventures of Shock Ray Hip Hop's hero

I've been waiting on this book for a while, and it definitely didn't disappoint me. I knew we were getting something good and it's great to see such an excellent start.This is a fascinating book, everything comes together to show just enough of each subplot to make me want to see more.It leaves you wishing there was more book left. I bought a copy each for my whole family. Great purchase.

Great book, easy to read and being and the story line relates to my real life experiences. Growing up in the 70's and 80's when Hip-Hop hit the scenes, when crack cocaine destroyed communities, greed corruption in government played it's role the community has hope in an urban super hero. Love this book and the author really has his hand on the pulse of whats going on in marginalized communities.

This book has everything you need to enjoy a superhero story. The villans are realistic. The plot is unpredictable yet consistent with the times in which we live. The music enables you to place yourself in your own superhero mode as you reminisce on the beats. I can't wait to read more of Shock Ray's adventures!
