A Lenovo for Almost Everyone
Nice keyboard and screen. Very slim profile. Runs cool unless you decide to put it on a table cloth, pillow, your lap, etc. in which case it will get a little toasty because the cooling discharge is on the bottom, typical of most thin laptops. You may want to disable BitLocker before you begin OS updating because it will run faster and you won't find yourself scrounging for the product key when BitLocker interrupts things. Overall, a nice home/student computer, especially after you liberate it from some of the bloatware.

Lenovo laptop
Update: I purchased this laptop on March 9, 2025. The screen went black August 2, 2025. I contracted the seller and was told it is outside of their warranty and I need to contact Lenovo. It is also out of Lenovo's warranty. I am extremely disappointed as this laptop is not even 6 months old and is now useless. Spend the extra few hundred dollars and buy from Best Buy or a place where you can actually speak to a real human being, rather than an AI chatbox. 😥 This was purchased as a gift.. it's a nice laptop. Wish it was a touchscreen. I've had another other Lenovo that was a touchscreen.. loved it!
