Not only did it keep my hair moisturized after my wash routine, it made my hair softer. The only thing I tweaked with this butter was whipping 1/4 cup Oyin Hair Dew and 1/4 cup Aloe Vera juice in it before use. This was of my own personal preference and made it more malleable for coating my hair. Before my add in, the consistency was like the stiffness of a cold coconut oil but it softened to a lotion like feel as it warmed in my hand. The grapefruit and cocoa smell was VERY pleasant, not overpowering at all! It stays soft after application as well so no need to worry about it hardening on you. A little definitely goes a long way and considering the price of the separate ingredients to make it on your own, I will DEFINITELY be buying from them again!
