Very dim, orange in color.
These lights are basically orange at full chare and the candy cane ascetic is only visible in the day.. if you have a very bright yard that could illuminate the candy canes then maybe go for it. I will be returning mine, I don't recommend them.

Easy to install. Since these are solar they are very dim.
