Simple, Effective and great value
"I've been using manual toothbrushes for years, and finally decided to switch to electric. The Oral-B Vitality Pro is a fantastic entry-level option. It's super easy to use – just press the button and go! The two-minute timer is really helpful for making sure I brush for the recommended time. My teeth feel noticeably cleaner after using this toothbrush. It gets into all those hard-to-reach places that my manual brush missed. The brush head is a good size, and the bristles are gentle enough for my gums. The battery life is decent – I get about a week of use on a single charge. It's also really lightweight and easy to hold. If you're looking for an affordable and effective electric toothbrush, the Oral-B Vitality Pro is a great choice. It's a simple but solid upgrade from a manual toothbrush."

It cleans well but features could be better
Firstly, as a tool to keep your teeth and mouth clean, this is great. It allows three speeds at which you can brush, along with the usual 2 minute reminder. The annoying thing about this model is the ommission of the charging light on the handle. Having previously only ever purchased Oral-b budget models, this was a great feature that showed charging status. Was it a compromise feature that was removed I don't know. Otherwise okay. Average battery life, 2 brushes a day at full speed lasts a week- just.

Good basic toothbrush, charge for 36 hours before first use.
Good basic electric toothbrush model. Needs a jolly good long charge before first use, and it might appear that not much is happening when first put on the charger. (There are no indicator lights.)

Good price
Bargain. Doesn't have a charge light on it so have to check every few hours when charging. Good toothbrush though.

Good at what it does, but maybe a little *too* simple
For the £23 I bought it for I'd say this is definitely not the worst investment I've ever made, and it absolutely does give me a far better tooth clean than any manual brush ever could. From that perspective it absolutely does what I bought it for. That being said though, I think I have to echo a lot of what other people have been saying about it, from the point of view of its downsides. I havent had quite the egregious battery life other people seem to have been experiencing, but I'd also hesitate to call the battery life "good". I live by myself, and I manage to get anywhere from two to three days out of it before it needs charging again. Its not absolutely terrible and I bought it knowing the battery life was a weak point, but if you have a full family thats using it then the battery won't last very long at all. This is a problem, considering that there's no way to know when the battery is getting low other than just how strong the motor feels when you're using it. Looking at the instructions, it seems like other models have an LED on them, but this one doesnt even have a single one. This both means that its hard to get an exact idea of when the battery needs charging, and also means you wont know when exactly its done charging either (I think maybe some people are experiencing poor battery life because they arent leaving it on for long enough, precisely because of that). You sort of just have to guess at when it might be done or check how strong the motor feels. Dont get me wrong, I like that its simple and I dont think its inherently a bad product - I intend to keep it an use it even with its flaws, just because it does everything I need it to, only really cost the equivalent of a few packets of toothburshes, and having the integrated timer is really useful. However I feel like they made it a little too simple for its own good. Not having even a single LED on there does kind of harm the functionality, given that the battery life isnt exactly stellar to begin with. I'm ok with that on balance since I'm the only one using it here, but it may well be worth it to most people to move slightly further up the like to a slightly higer end brush. I feel like its also worth noting, while we're on the subject, that the brush's charger only has a shaver plug connector, and it doesnt include an adapter for a standard wall socket. Thats fine if you have a shaver plug, but I feel like to an extent those are a dying breed so most people will also need a shaver plug adapter to use a normal socket with it, which is worth noting since it adds to the cost and it isnt really mentioned on the product page (albeit not especially significantly).

Brilliant toothbrush.
Had been wanting to buy an electric toothbrush for a while, and this one came recommended in the WHICH magazine. It's great, I love it. Would definately recommend, and I'd buy another one to keep as a spare as value for money.

Too basic for me
Very Basic Ive had an electric toothbrush for years, it had all the bells and whistles on the last one and i didn't use them so thought id save money and just get a basic one but for me this is too basic. Theres no indication of charge state. One button for on off and speed. Which is annoying as it starts too slow and you have to press it 2 more times to get what I consider a good speed. You have to press again to stop it so you dont get toothpaste everywhere when you take it out of your mouth to spit before pressing 3 times again to start cleaning. I wish id just spent a bit more and got something a little better. Otherwise it does the job fine.

Just... just... ok
This is probably an ok electric toothbrush... but in comparison to the older models before it, it's rubbish!! The older models needed updating, they were the exact same design since my dad got one for the family when i was a teenager... and i had had two more since then, but they were rock solid and so reliable, they lasted!! The battery on this is woeful, where on my previous Oral-B electric toothbrushes they would last sometimes up to 2weeks on a single charge, on this you're lucky to get a few days out of it. There's no light, so you can't see if it's charging, if the battery is low, and there's no pressure sensor. It also doesn't feel great with the cheap replacement heads i use. The only positive is that they've put some special coating on the handle, that doesn't get gunked up with old toothpaste chalk, that the old ones used to, that's literally it. If you can still find, a never been used, older model, i would definitely recommend that instead!!
