The temps were 110°+F during the day and 70 in the evening. The tent's large windows were a huge plus. We purchased a fan to help with evening breezes. It was super easy to set up and between hubby and I, it only took 5 minutes the second time. We did a trial run in our driveway at night in case we had to set up in the dark at campground. Even the first time was pretty quick. It's great to be able to fully stand up, then to be able to lay down and see wide range of sky. Tear down pretty quick, too. Very light, fairly small footprint. A little longer than average camp chair, but about the same diameter as one folded. I don't know why other truck tents aren't pop up. Makes zero sense to me. Since so many tents are that way now, I don't know why all of the truck tents wouldn't be. I looked at several brands and this was only one I found that was pop up without having to connect and thread poles. This is easily a one person job. We didn't try rainfly, so can't speak to weather durability yet nor to overall durability. But the straps were fine out of box and no issues there. One point: the plastic floor extends pretty high up the walls so if you're on a shallow pad or mattress, you're not really up where the breeze is. We purchased a fan that hung from ceiling and greatly helped with that. Value for money? I think it's kinda pricy for that size. You can easily get 2 person pop ups for well under $100. Even the taller popups are around $100. The biggest difference between this and those is the 6 straps added to tie down to truck. If course it fits exactly inside, but I bet others could, too. This was a last minute trip for our family of 6. If I'd had more time, I would have researched more to see what I could come up with before spending over $200 for a 2 person tent. The windows were our favorite feature along with ease of set up, and we hope we get our money's worth with this. Review: Easy set up for sure - The first product I bought wasn't even the same brand. Someone made an honest mistake and sent me something completely wrong. They returned it and I bought the right thing. After the first tent setup, I was nervous about investing in this. The first one didn't go together easy, the poles were in another bag, I was hot and sweaty and kinda stressed after I got it put together. See the last pic for the wrong tent. I also saw that the wrong tent wasn't mostly a screen tent. I am making a trip where it will be hot and humid and muggy. I already know tent camping is hot, I didn't want to be completely uncomfortable. Well I got the new tent and first of all, the bag for it is very long. The other one was about a foot and a half maybe. So ok, that is different. Next the piles were attached. Wow, this us different! Putting it together, you put it in the back of your truck. Unfold it. Pull up the center so all the poles are kinda standing and push the center piece, it's under the main center, down to lock it. Then put your pole legs where they go, extend the front legs, and add the straps. I did it, by myself, in around 15 to 20 minutes. And I was reading directions every do often. The windows all zip up, but if you want rain protection use the rainfall. I haven't had it in the rain yet, but as with any tent I am sure the rain fly is there for a reason. As for putting the rain fly on? No instructions for it, but I put it on after I had already slept in the tent overnight. It was pretty easy without any instructions. Now for the pros and cons list: The good, it is super easy to set up it is nice and Breezy and makes for a very comfortable night's rest. Putting the rainfly on after it's been up is a little bit weird and it probably should get put on before you put the tent all the way up, but I wanted a screen tent to sleep in last night. The con, not cons but con: you can see in the couple of pictures before the video that for my particular truck there is a gap in the back where the tent doesn't fully go over the sides. The bad thing about that is if it were to rain I will have rain under my tent. I think I can make the rainfly work to keep most of the rain from going under my tent but it is not something that was thought of for my particular truck. I have a 2001 Ford F-150 dual cab small box. And it is the side step box so you can see from the pictures, that my truck actually kind of gets more narrow by the tailgate than it is up at the front by the cab. That is my only issue so far with this tent. I will update this review after my camping experience in a few weeks with more pictures I am sure. All in all I am happy that I have this I also have another mattress that I will be using for this. I have a pop-up camper and I will be taking the mattress off of one of the beds in my pop-up camper and using it it in here. I know some of you are saying why would I get a tent if I already have a pop-up camper, but I am pulling a horse trailer and going horse camping so I can't exactly pull a horse trailer and a pop-up camper at the same time. So this is my solution to that problem.

Kept us dry
Overall this was a great tent. We moved to a different campsite daily since we were traveling all around the Upper Peninsula in Michigan. Super quick set up and tear down. We did experience a pretty good rain one night in it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the rain fly. It needs to be about 12” longer on each side so that it hangs over the bed of the truck. We got some good side rain and the actual tent wasn’t 100% waterproof. This can be solved by applying your own silicone tent spray or a longer rainfly. Now for the positives. My wife loved all of the storage. Can stand up in this one. 99% waterproof. Compact. Easy setup and tear down. Full size tent fits the newer Ram trucks with the Rambox storage perfectly.

Quick and Easy setup. Good value for the money.
I purchased this product because it looked like it was the easiest to assemble compared to other truck bed tents. I needed something I could assemble by myself and I didn’t want to deal with a bunch of color coded tent poles. It took me about 20 minutes to set up the first time. There is a durable set of instructions sewn into the bag. Great Idea! Won’t get lost or fall apart if they get wet. Instructions were written by an English speaker and include pictures. They could have had a little bit better explanation on fastening the straps. The corner straps split in 2 near the tent and this part should be split over each side of a corner to lock everything in place. It took a few minutes to figure this out. Otherwise instructions were easy to follow. The only issue I had was that the threads of the seam started coming apart on one of the corner straps. This won’t be a big deal to re-sew. I reached out to the company and they got back to me right away wanting to rectify it. In the end I accepted a partial refund in exchange for making the repair myself. This company wants to make sure every customer is happy with the product. First time take down took 5 minutes, again being careful and consulting the instructions. Should be quick setup and takedown once I’ve done it a few times. The material it is constructed from appears to be nylon for the upper part and plastic tarp for the lower. I expect that it should last several years if not left out in the sun for extended periods of time. For the price of this product it is good value for the money. I visited a National Park last month and stayed in a crappy 2 star hotel off site which cost me $200 for one night. The next one I go to I’ll be camping in my truck bed tent, which will have paid for itself after 1 night. I’ll update this review after actually using the tent. I expect it to work fine for my needs.

Very easy setup for one person
I haven't taken this out in the field yet, but when it arrived I set it up in the back of my truck. My first priority was that it be easy to set up by myself since I plan to go solo-camping... it definitely fit the bill. I had the whole thing set up in five minutes or less. (Note that others have commented on the straps - I was careful not to over-tighten them because I could see how this is potentially a weak spot. It will be interesting to see how well they hold up if there is a windy day). Tear down time was also important to me because when I'm camping I almost always end of driving to trailheads that are not within easy hiking distance or taking a trip into a nearby town for shopping our touring. Tear down was also very easy - also about five minutes from start to in-the-bag. I was also pleased with the fit. The bed of my truck is 82" long, but I have a toolbox that takes up about 20" in the front. I thought I was going to have to take out the toolbox whenever I went camping, but the legs at the front of the tent sat perfectly on the lowered tailgate even with the toolbox in place. I'm glad for this because that's where I normally keep my backpack and other camping equipment I don't want to store in the cab. Overall - I'm happy with this product. If I run into any issues later on I'll update this review, but if you don't see any updates you'll know that my driveway setup matched my expectations in the field. Update April 2022: I took this out on a 15 day road trip, and it was exactly what I needed. There was no rain, so I didn't have to use the rain fly, which is good, 'cause I have no idea how I would install it without a ladder. The tent is high enough to stand up inside, so from the outside, it's up pretty high. There were a few windy days (about 20 - 25mph winds, but that's a guess), and the tent held up just fine. Still very happy with this purchase!
