I'm writing a late review, but I bought this deck to build into a better deck and I spend hours playing with it weekly. I'm very pleased with the content and for helping me get started on this exciting game.

Amazing starter deck for beginners. Totally been crushing my friends with this thing. Cards were all printed well and sturdy.

I would say price is really good if you get close to MSP pricing.It’s slow but powerful when you get enough mana, the commander alone ends a match after two direct attacks adding to over 21 points. Will kill any deck with no defense against flying.The cards are mainly dragons, I stick to the red card creatures. The mana cost makes it hard to do anything other than summon large creatures.I would say it’s fun if you like being the boss fight, other players will probably team up to beat you.

Fun to use and enjoy time with friends

I was bitten by the Commander bug recently. While I have several hundred cards and a couple dozen decks already built, I started diving into this new game variant after playing with some friends.Commander can quickly become a money-game, with people spending hundreds or thousands of dollars to fine-tune a single deck. If that's something you're willing and able to do, great. But, if you're like me and are frugally-minded when it comes to gaming, you should ABSOLUTELY grab one of these pre-constructed decks. I would recommend it even if it were $50-$60, but because of the fact that it's far less than that (at the time of my purchase) you simply can't beat it.By comparison, I've built a deck along the same theme for the same amount of money ($20-$30). That deck doesn't compare to this one, even though mine is rather well-built, if I do say so myself. This one came with several cards I've been looking for, that are each about half the price of the deck itself.If you know anything about building decks, you probably will want to do some tuning. But, if your goal is to open it up and start having fun right out the box, you can absolutely do it with this deck. You might even be able to open it right up, jump in a game, and win against people who have poured serious money into theirs; it's THAT good.All the cards were in mint-condition too, still in original packaging, so if that's a concern of yours you'll be fine.
