My husband works out everyday for just 15 minutes and has 3 rules... avoids cheese, avoids anything creamy like soup or mayo, and limits red meat. You would look at him and think he's Mr. Healthy. Well, Mr. Healthy felt his energy depleted and suffers from neck and back pain from degenerative disc and a broken neck from his accident. The more ick he feels the more he may slump and there goes the muscles, all tensed up and inflamed. He also has digestive issues that cause him not to be regular.My story. I'm a school teacher .... enough said! I'm exposed to constant germs and stress. Add on outside stress and my body is shot. As a result I've gained a good bit of weight over the past two years with job stuff, an abundance of outside stress, and then some injuries. Out of nowhere my ankle began to constantly dislocate. I primarily use it as a supplement in my daily post-workout smoothie / acai bowl. I make vegan milkshakes for my 3 kids (under 10) and add a scoop of UB Super (so they each get 1/3). I met the CEO, Scott, at Whole Foods as he was sampling the products years ago and gave it a try - I have tried them all: Isagenix, Shakeology, Garden of Life, etc with mediocre results, taste, texture and usually some kind of stomach ache. UB Super is easy to digest, tastes amazing (we love the plant based vanilla) and I trust the brand because I know Scott’s mission is to keep this as organic, clean, safe and effective as he can. This new formulation of protein smoothie is great because it comes in a non-flavored "Natural" version which is vegan and allows me to control the sweetness myself. It is very unobtrusive, (straight up I find it tastes slightly like nuts) and so I can use it with anything. Frozen berries for a sweet shake or greens and walnuts for a savory salad/meal replacement shake. I work at a very busy restaurant, and I needed something healthy to get me through a 6-7 hour shift so that I would not be tempted to snack on unhealthy fried food.
