In response to nonsense.
First of all these are awesome knives for the money. Very smooth in operation, sharp and good looking. To address the previous review about the “authenticity of the Damascus blades” As a machinist and metal worker who works with all types of steels etc, etc.. They are, from what I can tell, clearly by the lack of consistency in the pattern, real and not laser etched or “painted”. The review used the part ground down in the mechanism as means of “proof” when in fact anyone who has worked with Damascus knows you will not see the pattern in Damascus untill the blade is etched in ferric chloride etc etc first to bring out the pattern in the material.. hence grinding off a part of the material will cause it to disappear… sooo.. yeah.. they are very real.. Great knives. Get one for yourself you’ll be pleasantly surprised by its quality. I bought 4 for myself and family.

My husband uses this daily
My husband got this after his kershaw no longer worked for him. Immediately after opening it up, he sliced his thumb so it is incredibly sharp. He's fine, don't worry. He uses it daily for breaking down boxes and such at his work. We have used it for cutting sandwiches and pretty much anything else that needs opened. Great knife. The only downside is the holder clip came loose so we have to buy a tiny star tool to tighten it but I am assuming that is more from daily use than anything. We will likely buy this knife again if the one he has ever takes a crap

Really sharp, looks beautifully made, but not durable sadly.
I want to give it five stars I’ve really enjoyed the knife, Love the quick open, love its really, really sharp, not to heavy, & beautiful knife to own. Was using the knife to open amazon and other packages by cutting the tape open. The knife literally would sit next to the key bowl and only be picked up now and then to cut seals on delivery boxes. Yesterday I decided to go out with the knife while running errands and when I pulled it out to remove a dangling string on my wife’s outfit the knifes gripping finish had dropped two screws and there so small I couldn’t find them or see when they fell. Very saddening I really like this knife I purchased another one from the same company and noticed it has these screws as well. I use the other knife for work and not sure if it will lose its screws also someday. Not sure if it’s worth the price if it falls apart after mostly sitting on a counter to open mail and packages.

VG-10 steel great price quality is also very good
It's a big knife with a thick blade took a little time to reprofile it to 15 degrees now it's a good cutting knife. As a damascus steel sandwiched between vg 10 steel the vg steel is a little thinner than other ones but price point is enough to look passed that. As a flipper it is easy opening and that big blade moves a little slower. Once open up grip is good but it is slick so removing from pocket it can slip out of hand. putting a lanyard on the end will help a lot. maybe the paint /aluminum together. Also the clip is nice but too thin and with thin fabric pants it's not a stronghold in the pocket. In jeans its ok. I have bent it in some and that helps I will upgrade it the next time I Have to bend it again. I like blades at least 3.5 in or better and this one feels longer than it is given the size of the blade. Not known this aubey knife I googled it and found a guy in Austra testing the tango knife on a hood of a car trying to destroy the knife and it did hold up very well but don't like the tango style. people always say wow big knife but when compared to my spyderco endura with a 3.82 in k390 blade they still think this blade looks just as long. A very good knike and great price

Best knife for under $50
First off this knife is extremely sharp out of the box. It comes in a little case and is ready for use. The ball bearings will take some getting used to. Its not spring Assisted opening, but sometimes with very little pressure it opens quickly and fully. Sometimes it doesnt, but no matter what it has avery smooth action. The pocket clip is on the wrong side from what im used to, but that is about the worst I can say about this knife. The lock is very secure doesnt feel weak or seam to not hold well. The blade is very stiff no side to side play very sturdy unlike my much more expensive name brand knifes. Over all I get the same quality of a knife as the top dog knifes for a fraction of the price. Best value for your money by far.
