Calvin Klein Janae Signature Tote

Beware. I strongly believe this is a fake. When I purchased it I kinda threw that knowledge and worry to the wind and purchased 2 different designs as a treat for myself. They were lower in price at that time, btw. 😉When it arrived I went over it and the tag inside (which is a small transparent tag, nothing else) doesn’t have a (true) serial number on it and the price tag didn’t have a serial on it at all (they should share serials), nor did it have a hologram on the price tag (which I’ve seen real ones not have one either, because the tag got replaced ..someone removed it or something like that, so that’s a hit and miss, I think)🤔. In a genuine luxury product like this, you should have proof that it’s real besides the logo on the bag and certain copied embossing.Also, the material used is very stiff and doesn’t/didn’t smell of leather (but not of chemical either), although the stiffness isn’t something that you could or couldn’t say that it’s a fake (I’ve felt real CK bags and they were almost stiff; but not this stiff).The marks/embossing are where there should be, except in one area. The stitching is good but in one area, it looks frayed and out of sync, which caused a miss stitch and if you were to cut it to fix it, could cause more issues. (I’ll include pics when I get a chance)They’re getting much better at deceiving consumers and Amazon is widely known for it, so just know, it’s a 50/50. Just enjoy your new bag if it doesn’t matter to you.😊 It’s a nice bag and if it doesn’t matter to you if it’s a true CK, 🤷🏼‍♀️ then don’t let it bother you....There are metal ‘buttons’ (feet) on the bottom of the bag, so don’t set it on anything metal, like your car.There is one zippered pocket on the inside and the usual two area pockets to the side, on the inside; one fits 4 fingers and the other fits 4 fingers and thumb.(p.s my fingers are skinny).The zipper that closes it all is what you’d expect CK to use.There is an outside pocket which could possibly hold a 10” tablet, but it wouldn’t fully be covered, but close. I use it for my keys.The straps are nice and look like good material.The fabric inside is nice, fits well and not loose.The logo on both bags looked straight.The metal that holds the straps, I’m going to say honestly that I can’t tell if it’s just shinny plastic or metal. Even to try by sound, it’s hard to say.🤷🏼‍♀️Regardless of this or that, I purchased both bags for $63.00 each and they’re worth that.
