This Happy Traveler product is dosed on an "As Needed" basis. On five separate occasions, I have seen this product calm my dog. Her shaking stops in about 20 minutes and she begins to interact with me again. After about 45 minutes, I can take her for a drive or a walk. It does make her a bit drowsy but doesn't prevent her from doing light activity. On one particular occasion, I was planning on taking her on a mellow backcountry skiing tour (yet still a significant energy expenditure for a dog). I gave her two, instead of three treats, and she did fine.
