Disappointment
These keys come in plastic or metal. Picture looked like metal, but are plastic. I was a bit disappointed, but they do work.

PLASTIC
All my life these keys have been some kind of metal. These are plastic and the ad does not go out of its way to tell you that they are plastic. Works fine since the latch on my freezer is not hard to turn. 4/5 stars because I was expecting a metal key. Best advice tie it to the door handle with a string to keep from loosing it. Tape the second key to the top of the freezer.

Read description before purchasing
***UPDATE!!!! First key lasted less then a month before stripping out and becoming useless, no reason these should have stripped out after a couple weeks of use. 2nd key still works for now but i can see its getting stripped as well. Do not buy these*** failed to read the description before purchasing and did not realize they are made of plastic. Was pretty disappointed but was even more disappointed when i realized the lock on my freezer was made out of thin plastic ๐ณ๐ฌ keys feel far more durable then the freezer latch and they work great. They feel very solid for being made of light weight plastic so should outlast the poorly made modern day freezer.

Worked as advertised
Moved into a house with an old deepfreeze in good functioning condition stored in the basement. Door was locked no key. Tried various picking methods. No good. This key opened the door right away. Be sure to check the make and model of the fridge before ordering.
