I injured my knees and as a result my body retained a great deal of fluid in my legs making me very miserable. These stockings were very effective in reducing the retention with their compression.I could not wear an elastic knee brace due to the retention as it restricted blood flow, but the stockings help hold my joints in place and reduced swelling. I inherited my mothers incompetent veins and had to wear these stockings in pregnancy as well. They take me five minutes to put them on but the suggestion of using rubber gloves is really helpful (gloves used in hair coloring are best) They have a fold seam they helps to guide you as you gather the stocking up from the feet. The fabric is not scratchy. They are thicker than "dress" stockings which is necessary to get the compression. I wear a large and am 5'7" 170 lbs.

I would love to return this item but Amazon won’t allow me to. They were so tight that I couldn’t get them on. Very disappointed

Just perfect for my legs and veins.

Difficult to put on, but biggest issue was the fabric was scratchy like sandpaper on my skin and intolerable!

I Have Old Author on Both Hands and Wrist. Painful Too Put On / Off.
