I don't have a big head--I always wear small hats, and this was the best-fitting watch cap/fisherman's cap/teenieweeniebeanie on Amazon. I bought a couple more of the same size (different colors--black & olive green), but they are a bit bigger, and go over the ear just slightly. I was really hoping for above-the-ear because I wear them inside at college, but I will keep them because they still look good and are still smaller than regular beanies on the market. I'm just worried about buying another color because the size isn't consistent. I will review the other watch caps later.

For me it’s a perfect fit with a buzzed head, if you have a lot of hair however, I don’t think this would be the fit for you.

fabric quality is tolerable, not very soft but not terrible, there's like a weird change in the weave that creates a circle at the top that kinda bothers me. Fit is good

This little hat needs to loosen up and grow some. I put it on for ten minutes, took it off because of discomfort. My scalp and forehead looked like a freshly plowed field.

My biggest fear with buying new hats is that most of them are too deep and end up pushing into/over my ears. This one fits like a glove though; perfectly snug, sits on your crown, and doesn't make me uncomfortably warm in this summer weather. I just ordered two more in different colors because of how happy I am with the fit.
