What to do and see
If you are retiring or thinking of retiring, or even just want some great ideas of how to spend free time, then this is a great resource to have. The book opens with some quotes about traveling and experiencing life, and the author explains some of the benefits of really enjoying retirement. Then, we get into the traveling suggestions. I liked that the author included international desitnations (Greece, Bali, Italy) as well as domestic (Alaska, Cape May, Georgia's Jekyll Island). This was helpful because retirees like my parents will not go anywhere by airplane, so I can share some local suggestions with them. I also appreciated that the author included things to do in these locations, like bird watching, tours, spas, etc. This offers great ideas when you may not be super familiar with any hobbies. I think this is a great book.

Finally retired
Wow, this book has some great suggestions for you to do when you retire. But live for you, it's your time now, let go and do what you want. Travel, if you can afford to, write a book, my favorite is to volunteer your time, be a mentor, learn a new hobby, continue your education, these are just a few suggestions, there are many more. Let's not forget to exercise, stay active, very important for your health and your peace of mind. I truly enjoyed reading this book and will be doing some of these suggestions, since I'm retired and love to read.

Great Ideas
Some of these ideas are out of the box, or ideas that I have never even thought of! I am 64 and trying to figure out what I'm going to do with my life in retirement. Going back to work, learning a new instrument, joining a hiking club? This book has given me new ways to think about retirement.I'd give it 5 stars, but it needs more editing. Some headings were missing, and spacing needs review.

Retired? Now what?
If you are retired, near retirement or looking for a retirement present for someone, this is a great book. Being retired doesn't mean that life has to be boring. This book has plenty of great ideas of things to do that doesn't involve bingo. This book will encourage you to start trying all of the things that you haven't done up to this point in your life.

Ok
I purchased this because of the reviews and was a little disappointed. Nothing special or unexpected in it.

Never Be Bored
The book is easy to read and I enjoyed the content. I recently retired and already had my bucket list. After some reading I fine tuned my bucket list. The different suggestions in the book also provided me with thoughts on great things I can do when resources are being eaten away due to inflation. With the application of the many suggestions boredom is out of the picture.

Ripped Off
I purchased this book as a retirement gift for a friend, and I feel that I got ripped off. The table of contents says that there are 137 pages in the book, but actually there are only 111 pages (the entire table of contents is incorrect)! Sections that were particularly shorted: * Travel The World - 25 pages instead of 30, * Indulge in a Hobby (or More) - 14 pages instead of 20, * Start a Small Business - 18 pages instead of 22. I discovered this as I was wrapping the book just now. My friend is leaving on a trip in a day, so I don't have time to return and reorder the book, so I'll have to give it to him as is (EMBARRASSING 😕).
