This curtain is just what I needed for a large window along the side of my front door. I do have wood slat blinds on that window, but they let a lot of light through the slats, they leave a draft from the window and also people outside at my door can see through the slats into the house even when they are closed. This curtain is the perfect solution! It is made of very nice, thick and soft material, very high quality. I think it's a little bit of a stretch to call them "thermal", but they are a couple layers thick and are much thicker than a standard drape. I think they will help with the draftiness of the room. They are not exactly light-blocking, but definitely light-filtering. And they provide a good amount of privacy, even if I had the blinds behind them wide open to let more light through. Took about 15 minutes to steam them to take the packaging wrinkles out, but the wrinkles came out very easily with the steamer. Was incredibly easy to mount them with the provided Velcro. I ended up putting the valance/molding from the blinds back on over top of them which I think adds a nice touch and should help make sure they stay up securely. They are lovely either up, or down. I did tuck a few curtain weights into the bottom hem to keep them hanging down straight and make sure they don't blow around too much when I open the front door, then just used a couple small pieces of double sided tape to seal up the ends of the hem so the weights won't come out when I put the drape up. (the weights I purchased separately). From the outside, with the wooden blinds open, these drapes behind the blinds give an appearance of nice fabric blinds in the window. My only complaint is that you can clearly see the ties hanging behind them when they are down, wish they'd thought of some way to tuck those up out of sight when not in use. They hang on the back-side of the curtains but they are clearly visible through the drapes. Fantastic product, would highly recommend for purchase!

These curtains fit my French door perfectly. They block all light (this was taken at 5pm in full light) and are very durable! They are very thick and heavy duty, even with Velcro holding it up. My dog has clawed at them many times and has not torn them down or torn them, just some scratches on them. The fabric isn’t even frayed where he scratched it. The color was exactly as described. I couldn’t be happier

Love this! The only reason it only got 4 stars is because i wish it was a bit longer. It’s the perfect thickness and blocks out light amazingly. The color looks very good in our home and was very easy to install.

I bought this to cover my backdoor that has completely glass and felt that I didn't like my neighbors being able to see into my living room at night. It's perfect, it rolls up and down very easily and is very light and pretty!

These are cheap and easy to install. Minimal light is blocked with the shades drawn and these on top. Product came with smalls holes that were only noticed after installation. *color is green Other brands have a similar cost and block more light.

easy install...i got this to put on my front door to block out the hot summer sun.. it should block out the heat but not make my room dark...I love that you can roll it up, it should suit my purpose...the only thing is...it did not come with hook side of velcro to attach to my door.. but i would definitely recommend this product...

The velcro on the 2 straps to hold the curtain up do not stick together so curtain always has to hang down.

Hung this up on my back door for a little more privacy and it's perfect. I didn't want to go out and get curtain rods and the like to hang a sheet of fabric up on a door, so when I saw a simple Velcro option, I thought it was convenient and worth a shot. Very easy to install - just stick a length of Velcro where you want it to hang and then stick the curtain to it. The material of the curtain is lightweight but well-made, thick enough to block a decent amount of light, and absolutely opaque enough that no one is seeing in at any time of the day or night. Hangs nicely, although there is some wrinkling from rolling the curtain up whenever I want to see out the window. It's exactly the kind of convenient and simple solution I was looking for. Immediately went out and bought another for the bathroom window.
