A great value and straightforward repair.
This got the drain working again on my dishwasher. It was a very straightforward job. Only needed a pair of adjustable pliers. It's lighter than the original motor, but it works like a charm. I think it's just as quiet as the one I replaced. I used the original gasket and have yet to spot any leaks after running three cycles.

Excellent quality, excellent price
So far so good. I installed this pump about 6-months ago and so far, it's working perfectly. I would say it's no louder than the original pump, so that's awesome. Installation was very easy and it seems to function (drains water, easy to clean when needed) great. I really appreciate the build quality - seems to be very well made and is durable. If your pump is out of going out, replace it yourself! I was quoted something like $150 to have someone do it for me, so it just makes sense to buy this part and do it yourself.

Back up and running in less than 60 minutes
Had an issue with a high-pitch whirr from dishwasher and the water would not drain from the unit. It would not drain when selecting just the drain cycle either. Turned out to be the water drain pump, and this pump motor fit perfectly. Entire job took about 60 minutes to drain the water out, replace, put back together etc. Next time would likely be a 15min job. Dishwasher back up and running, will update if this part fails.

Works better than it has in a long time!
Had my dishwasher up and running in approximately15 minutes,so happy.I had ordered the whole pump assembly from another company on Amazon and after waiting over a week and never receiving it,I cancelled the order and ordered this unit to replace just the pump motor( really all you need). It arrived in 2 days,I transferred and lubricated the original oring snapped it in place, plugged it in and tried it out. It worked great! And I'll be honest my dishes haven't come out this clean in a long time,I guess the old pump had not been getting rid of the dirty water in a long time until it just quit. Time will tell how long this one lasts ,hopefully I can get several years out of it

Still working after two washes
Item was as described, easy to install. Only two actual washes so far but it's working. No leaks. Replaced from front of machine, using Youtube video for guidance. No need to move machine or disconnect anything else.

Way easier than I thought
My dishwasher is an LG - LPD6797. The pump was easier to access than the videos show. I did not have a metal plate in front of the pump (it was a white insulation plate that was not connected at all) besides the kick plate that had two screws. After disconnecting the cable, I twisted clockwise, the unit came off and water drained. So if possible, drain as much as you can prior to replacing the motor. There is a black gasket that you need to pull off of the old unit and place onto the new unit. Make sure you put equal pressure on the top and bottom of the pump and twist counter clockwise. Reconnect the cable, put a few cups of water into your dishwasher and do a test run to see if it leaks. I cancelled the wash cycle immediately which will pump out the water. The pump fit and works great. It is showing it has more power than the old one that was going out. Supposedly these things go out around 3 years (mine lasted 5 years) so I bought another one to have on hand.
