A History of Modern Manga

The book came in good condition, the corners were bent a little but other than that it was great. The colors and images in the book are vivid and clear. I gave it as a gift and he loved it.

My daughter got this with her Christmas gift card, she has found it very informative and likes the many examples of manga illustrated throughout.

It’s a fun book especially if you’re learning BUT Kentaro Miura not being in here is SHOCKING. Rest in Peace

Great book with some decent information mostly about the top manga series. Noticed some missing that are popular but not popular enough to be included it seems.

I started reading manga recently and I was looking for a book about manga history, but without getting too specific or going back very far in the past. This book is great for those who want a general overview of the most popular manga and authors from the last 70 years. The book is hardcover, and good quality.

I am very happy with this book it is really interesting and informative I enjoy reading it
