MintCell SPARTAN V2 Mining case is designed for economically building professional crypto-currency mining rigs. A revision of the original SPARTAN, the V2 has been reengineered to increase structural stability and decrease it’s shipping footprint. The SPARTAN line is as austere as it gets. It’s not pretty, but it can accommodate up to 10 GPUS (8 on top 2 direct on motherboard) and it will save you a ton of money. With the SPARTAN V2 case, you can build high-hash, and space efficient professional mining rigs for home or mining farms without wasting time or money.Package Contents: 1 x SPARTAN Open Air Case (simple assembly required – instructions included All needed screws for attaching your GPUs and motherboard. NOTE: This case is composed of unfinished sheet metal similar to the steel found in standard computer cases. As it is unfinished, it will have scratches and marks from the fabrication process. We have not touched up our listing images at all. So, what you see in the images is representative of the new condition of this rig. You may prime and paint the case to your liking. However, If you do so, the case will no longer be returnable. **This offer is for a case/frame only, unless otherwise stated. Sturdy, some sharp edges.
Sturdy. The edges are a little sharp but nothing a little sandpaper couldn't fix.The height may be an issue for some large cpu coolers. Recommend stock or low profile cpu cooler.

Simple and easy to assemble
The easiest frame to assemble. Good for 6 gpus if you can keep them cool. I prefer it versus the superior quality veddha

This rig is awesome!
I don’t know what people are complaining about. I love this rack. Took all of ten minutes to put together, it’s bare metal so yes it’s scratched but it hasn’t been used. You can clearly see the holes arnt scratched up from prior screws. It’s bare but way strong enough for a rig. I wish there were more in stock.

Mining rig frame after mods.
Overall I wanted metal frame. This was cheapest that was available. After sanding razor blade edges, I drill some different holes to get more room in between cards. I decided scuff it, to paint it. If the finish wasn't coming off and the edge didn't cut me would gave it 5 out of 5.Pros:1. It thicker than I thought.2. It was together in few minutes.3. Motherboard standoff where perfect.4. MB screws, harddrive screws, and gpu screw where all in the kit.Cons:1. Finish that was on it was scratched on arrival and tool marks from bending.2. It was very sharp. (After sanding was great)

Good but not worth the $$$$
Functional and easy to assemble. Tolerances are loose and could be better with cost of this unit. $10 to $15 worth of unfinished sheet metal = overpriced for what you get. Build your own for a lot less if you have the know-how. Cannot stack this units if you have multiple rigs.

Order something else if you use normal sized components.
Terrible design. What a waste of money. Cheap CHEAP material. Predrilled standoffs do not line up with ATX boards. Thermaltake Toughpower PSUs (750W each) are too large to fit... Holes don't line up and the "support beam" screws get in the way, so you have to choose one or the other. I guess they forgot to mention you needed some precise size of low profile PSU as well as a nonstandard motherboard form factor to use the flimsy rack. And all shipped to self-assemble? It's marked up sheet metal with sharp edges. The makers should be embarrassed.Order something else.

Extremely easy to assemble and has plenty of space for gpus

DO NOT BUY THIS
garbage, dont waste your money, it destroyed my motherboard, fortunatelly im only out 200.00 and well the case, maybe i can sue the seller, but as u know it wont go anywhere, i lost over 350 usd on this purchase, DO NOT BUY, looks like a 10 year old made it, also sharp, poor design, very un professional, flimsy, cannot bolt power supplies in one bolt sometimes two, if u put in wrong, no hdd mounting, not that that part matters but still, my first mining fram was a distorter and took my main one down for 8 hours, so even that cost me money, not even sure where to go with this one, I re ordered another one from someone else
