I love the chunky texture, so different from the thinly cut traditional kraut, and I never would have thought of adding kale and bay leaf but yum, and free extra vitamins! It's pricey so I may not be buying it all the time (I eat ferments once or twice a day), but, try it at least once! You will most likely be back for more. I know I will.

**Q: Is it salt free?**
A: No it is not salt free. We ferment sauerkraut in the way that produces the most live bacteria. You need salt for that, otherwise it won't ferment but will simply rot.

Love at first bite. I love the chunky texture, so different from the thinly cut traditional kraut, and I never would have thought of adding kale and bay leaf but yum, and free extra vitamins! It's pricey so I may not be buying it all the time (I eat ferments once or twice a day), but, try it at least once! You will most likely be back for more. I know I will.
