This moisturizer is great for my combination skin that is prone to hormonal acne and closed comedones. It’s lightweight and absorbs quickly. It keeps oils at bay while still being moisturizing. I’ve seen a reduction in fine lines. I can’t tolerate retinol but this alternative has been effective without being irritating. I really like it in combination with the toner from the same line.

My son has acne and this cream keeps his oiliness at bay but is helps him recover from his zits much faster. We tried retinol from a few companies, but he turned cherry red and said it burned. The bakuchiol works way better for his sensitive skin.

This ‘oil control’ moisturizer actually made my skin oilier. No joke. Tried it for about 2 weeks. Oiliness just got worse. Plus the dispenser cap popped off first time I used it. Kept trying to put it back on, popped off. Gave up, pulled out the dispenser tube, and squirted the moisturizer into another dispenser bottle. Save your money, try anything else. I really wanted the moisturizer to work due to the nontoxic ingredients and EWG certification. Just can’t do it.

The product itself was about a 5 out of 10, but trying to pump it out of the bottle was awful. The pump is very cheap and feels as though it may break. Oh, wait... It did and I was lucky to get a rice size pump of cream out, if that. At first I tried to be positive and look one for videos, as I thought maybe it was user error. It wasn't and after seeing other reviews I wish I would have read them before I purchased. I wouldn't recommend. The cost for this small bottle and the packaging. Well, you can find much better.

This keeps my face pretty much shine free all day. That was my goal in buying this. I like that it has retinol in it as a bonus.

I like this a lot I can tell my face doesn’t have a lot of oil on it. The only thing I did not like about it was the pump. You really need the hold the pump one certain direction in order for any of it to come out.

I have oily combo skin and punish it with terrible hotel soaps when I travel on business. This is a light weight cream that absorbs nicely. I have been using it at night since running out of my other products and my skin seems bright and less tired.

This is a pump-tube of face cream that provides bakuchiol (a retinol alternative). It goes on easily and dries matte, which is especially nice for oily skin. The cream does have a scent that is warm and spicy & it's a scent I associate with other ayurvedic products. I dislike the pump mechanism here. While you don't need it to dispense a lot at a time, I feel like this one is very stingy. Also (and I did notice another reviewer with the same issue) the cap was on VERY securely, and when I finally managed to pop it off, the pump head, spring, and a third small plastic piece went flying across my bathroom together! Luckily they all landed in my sink with a very narrow stopper gap, or I might have had to fish the spring and/or smaller piece out of my P-trap. I was able to reassemble them once recovered, but there's really no excuse for the exploding surprise when removing the cap. It will be some time before I reach the end of this tube, so it remains to be seen how well the pump does on extracting product once it's near empty.
