I got these to replace the stock ear pads on my Audio Technica ATH-M50x, which are notorious for flaking and falling apart. My headphones are the limited edition blue/copper color - the ATH-M50xBL. It's always hard to tell exactly what color these 3rd party replacement parts will be, so I thought I'd post some comparison pics.These are much darker brown than my stock pads, but they still look pretty good in my opinion. At first they look like they'll be a bit small, but they stretch a bit and end up fitting well. Installation was easy; these came with a plastic tool to help, but no instructions. They feel pretty good - stiffer than the stock pads, but I haven't noticed any change in the sound. They could soften up over time.I'll have to wait to see how they perform in terms of long-term durability. For now, I'm pretty happy with them.

i recently noticed that the original pads were starting to flake so was looking for a cost effective way to replace the stock brown pads. although not the same shade as the original, these feel better than the original pads and are reasonable priced. as much as i like dekonis, i can't afford to replace all my ear pads with their offerings. i coupled this with a padded headband cover and the comfort has increased considerably (but i have to take points away on the looks dept/wouldn't be so bad if i got the black and not the hunter green color).

Installing the new pads took me about 5 minutes. These ear pads look great, they have a good build quality, they also feel great, but to me the headset now SOUNDS slightly DIFFERENT. It's hard to explain but they sound less clear. I think the high tones are less noticeable with these ear pads. It's not a lot, but for me definitely noticeable.

Time will tell I suppose, but these look good on my audio technicas and the install was not bad at all (less than a few minutes). It came with a little shim tool I guess to help work with getting the cloth ring into the slot, but really I just used my hands and it was just a tiny amount of trial and error. They look and feel good, I guess all that is left is to see how durable they are over time.

These ear pads were used on a Technica ATH M50x head phones. The plastic tool provided to help install them broke right away so was deemed useless but I was able to install them without the tool. They are comfortable and I would recommend them and also the seller.

I had to replace my original ear pads. This was a great choice. It is good quality and soft. Also, I did not find that it affects sound quality very much.

Super snug fit, took me a while to get it on but well worth! The included tool is also in my opinion necessary, a normal flathead might damage the earphone. Sits just with enough room for the speakers to not touch your ear but gets close. Will buy again once these are done.

They look and feel great , was excited to switch out my nasty ear pads - however they sound terrible. Details in the high end were lost, and pretty boomy low end. Might as well just be listening to a different pair of headphones. If you rely on these headphones for work and sound engineering I would not recommend. If you are a casual listener , go for it.
