This deck is my absolute favorite tarot deck yet!
I have many tarot & oracle decks. The Enchanted Tarot is so beautiful & carefully planned with care. It’s everything I’ve been wanting in a deck. I’m drawn to enchanting decks (tarot & oracle) so I’m glad to now have the 30th anniversary edition (although it went on sale for $15 less than what I paid, immediately after purchasing).I know lots of folks have a hard time shuffling but I really like the size of the cards because of my style of shuffle. Typically I do a horizontal overhand shuffle (I never riffle shuffle any of my cards) but I’m able to do a vertical overhand shuffle with ease. I have very tiny hands. My ring finger size is 4.5 if that gives you an idea of how small my hands are but these are meant for a great overhand shuffle. They shuffle very well. In fact, I find the big cards actually help be get better with my shuffle.I really love the art. Each card’s art pairs really well with the in-depth message with the deluxe size color guidebook. The guidebook contains a lot of information beyond the card meanings. It goes into how you should be mindful of how you phrase your questions & has step-by-step instructions for beginners on how to read the cards, plus the three-fold approach to reading the cards for more advanced practitioners is really great & helps you go further in-depth with your readings. The card quality itself is nice. I really like the way the suits are all corresponding colors, I just wish the edges were lined because I can see which suit is where by looking at the deck when it’s stacked. But it’s not anything that is off putting. This deck & guidebook are really well-done. I’m so glad I have this in my collection. The purple velvet pouch that comes with it is also very nice. This will become one of my daily use decks.I recommend this deck to everyone from beginners to advanced practitioners!

Third time's a charm - improving an already beautiful deck
I own the original Enchanted Tarot and the smaller, borderless Zerner Farber version, so naturally, I had to snag the Anniversary edition. And I ADORE it.First, if you didn't read the dimensions in the description, this deck is LARGE - six and a half inches long to be exact. Unless you've got banana hands, riffle shuffling probably won't work. Don't say you weren't warned!Comparing the Anniversary edition to the older editions, the image quality looks improved. The colors have been adjusted and some of the finer details are more apparent. Considering each image is an entire tapestry, I'm impressed we get as much detail as we do, and the larger size certainly helps in that regard. The color-coding system is back, this time as a fully colored, subtly patterned border. I personally like it (more than the original solid colored, stripey-looking borders of the original) The pattern on the border is mirrored in the card backs in an attractive and neutral beige and gold. Also, completely reversible. One tidbit I love: no obnoxiously placed copyrights on the cards! Unlike the first two decks, the card faces and backs are not marred by distracting copyrights. The book is mostly unchanged in terms of content. Full color pictures of the cards accompany a page devoted to their descriptions and meanings, but they have also added a Quick Read portion if you just want the basic reading. Also, and most helpfully, the new book has an illustrated index. If you're someone who decides to remove the borders and text from the cards entirely, this would be helpful if you lose track of what a card actually is.And finally, the box is beautiful and sturdy with a magnetic closure, and the eggplant purple velvet bag with gold toned drawstring suits the deck perfectly. One interesting thing I noticed - the images on the Anniversary edition have almost the exact same dimensions as the original deck as a whole. So if you trim this new deck to be completely borderless, you'll end up with a deck the same size as the original. I've included pictures to compare.

An uncommonly exceptional deck
I finally ordered my Enchanted Tarot 25th Anniversary edition and I am so in love with this deck that I've decided to feature it in a YouTube video. The book has been almost scary as a bibliomancy tool and is probably the most accurate I've ever found when using this method of divination; extremely well written as well as being laid out in a very unique and readable way.I have been reading the tarot and collecting decks for so many years that, while pretty, many decks these days just don't seem to be anything to write home about when it comes to the way that they actually read. As a professional tarot reader for a living, this aspect is of course incredibly important to me. Not only does a deck need to be beautiful, but it needs to also be very functional too. Not all of the decks I collect get used in my private practice, but this one has stolen the show and found itself in a place of honour amongst my shelves and shelves of tarot and Oracle decks. It really takes me back to same sense of excitement and wonder that I experienced when I first fell in love with the 78 cards and their messages and meanings, many years ago. That alone is magickal! The size of these cards is rather large, but I am able to shuffle them with ease despite my small hands, and the velour bag that comes with them is positively sumptuous. The whole ensemble just feels so decadent and yet it's an absolute workhorse for practical readings and client work. Can't say enough good things about this set in terms of not only the incredible fabric collage work and textured aesthetic, but it's accuracy and usability. Amazon only allows me five stars, but this 25th anniversary edition really deserves ten.Bonus: It's a Thoth styled deck! Very difficult to find anything so beautiful outside of your standard Rider-Waite-Smith format these days and this was a very pleasant surprise!
