Good fun and lovely packaging
Played this with a group of 4 of us and it was lots of fun! The packaging and little bits included was well designed, they’d even gone to the bother of crumpling the receipts a bit which was really cool. I’ve bought the other more “popular” versions of case files that are essentially a thin folder with some paper for the same price as this and I’d much rather buy this again. Not too tricky, but still took us about an hour or two, just good fun.

Nice to do something different on an evening, loved all the evidence packs and objectives set. Definitely would look at purchasing a different case

Really fun and enjoyable
Got this with my partner and we had a great time completing it. Putting together the puzzle was fun and it had a good level of challenge where we didn’t feel hopeless but it also wasn’t super easy. Would recommend!

Overly simplistic
I love mysteries and was brought up playing board games so this appealed to me despite what I thought seemed a hefty price tag. It’s disappointing. My husband and I have finished this in an hour and a half. We started off by overthinking the clues (wasting a lot of time) and eventually by envelope 3 of the 5 had learned to look for the glaringly obvious. It became quite dull by the end as everything did just jump out at us, with no thought having to go into at all.The Instagram accounts aren’t needed so if you don’t use social media don’t worry, you get cards with the screenshots on, the accounts themselves hold no more information than is given in the game pack. The QR codes do take you to hints, should you need them. It’s possibly fun if there’s a few of you and you’ve had a few drinks, but it’s definitely too easy for sober adults to solve! The game is nicely presented but it’s expensive as you can only play it once.

Really really fun and take just a tiny space in the “game cupboard”
This line of mystery games is very fun. Everyone in the family thought it was great and we have played some in the past that were either really ridiculously hard or just took way too long to figure out. Teens included! This kept us engaged without making us feel like we were remedial game players. I really enjoyed the very small packaging and ease taking it on a trip in my suitcase. I also enjoyed that it takes a very small space in our overflowing game cupboard.

So Fun!
I ended up ordering this to do with my class. It is such a fun activity for textual evidence! I plan on using one envelope per day that way the students can work together and solve the mystery during the week! I sorted through and laminated the items so I could reuse them again. I also sorted through each item and covered some things such as crude jokes and cursing to make the game school appropriate. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that loves a good mystery!

Good Quality
I bought this game at sale price, the evidence materials and documents were great quality. This is a good game for novices or younger players. Others will be able to complete this game very quickly, it is a game you can only play once so keep that in mind. You can always pass this on to others to play though.

Better than expected!
A lot of thought went into tying this story altogether. It is how I wished escape room stories approached connecting clues. Splitting up objectives by envelopes helped to break it up so that you don’t have to do the whole thing in one sitting (although our group did). The outside packaging makes it look like a kids game but our group of adults loved it, hope they make more! Don’t write on anything and you can pass it over to another group to enjoy after use. :)

Great game!
So far so good! we just started playing this but so far it’s been really fun we have to finish but the game itself is really cool. It comes in a really neat box. It has lots of files and the price was really reasonable. We started last night and should finish tonight after dinner. I’m really impressed with the game.
