## Description

From the New York Times bestselling author of Archer’s Voice comes a slow burn, grumpy sunshine romance about finding the courage to move forward when the past has torn you apart, perfect for fans of Colleen Hoover and Lucy Score. Crystal learned long ago that love brings only pain. Feeling nothing at all is far better than being hurt again. She guards her wounded heart behind a hard exterior and carries within her a deep mistrust of men, who, in her experience, have only ever used and taken. Then Gabriel Dalton walks into her life. Despite the terrible darkness of his past, there's an undeniable goodness in him. And even though she knows the cost, Crystal finds herself drawn to Gabriel. His quiet strength is wearing down her defenses and his gentle patience is causing her to question everything she thought she knew. Crystal and Gabriel never imagined that the world, which had stolen everything from them, would bring them a deep love like this. Except fate will only take them so far, and now the choice is theirs: Harden their hearts once again or find the courage to shed their painful pasts.

Review: Fantastic book from Mia Sheridan, adored it!! - Most of All You by Mia Sheridan 5 stars!!! “It’s not the things you do with love and good intentions that you end up regretting. It’s the things you don’t do that you have to live with.” Wow, this week has been one hell of an emotional reading week, three books, three lots of tears spilled of various quantities. But this is why I love reading. I love to experience those emotions, I cherish that character connection that can only be delivered by an author whose words call to every heart string, every fibre of my being, words that embed themselves into your heart and soul and Mia Sheridan never fails to deliver. Archer’s Voice is one of my all-time top favourite books ever, I have read that book well over twenty times and it is one that I will treasure for the rest of my reading days. Most of All You had all those Archer vibes, it had that same intensity, that all-encompassing emotional connection and a story that even the hardest of hearts could empathise with. I loved everything about this book, my second favourite Mia Sheridan read, because frankly, Archer’s Voice is untoppable. “I told my heart to stop beating. I told it not to hurt anymore. I told my heart I wouldn’t let it hurt anymore. Ever.” Captivating, superbly written and breathtakingly unique, Most of All You delivers two characters that you cannot help but embrace, empathise with, sympathise with and love implicitly. Their story ripped me apart, piece by piece, every ounce of empathy I had was given to these two broken characters that deserved their happy ever after more than anyone. Their back stories were harrowing, but it was those that made them the people they are today. Yes, they were fractured, they just hadn’t found their band aid, until the unlikeliest of couplings brought together one of the most tragic yet totally uplifting love stories that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. “You shouldn’t love me.” “It’s too late. I already do. I’m sorry but I can’t take it back.” I am not going to go into this story at all, this is a book that you need to read as the author intended. From the first word, your attention will be gripped in Mia Sheridan’s words as she expertly navigates the reader through Gabriel and Ellie’s story. Our pasts are often our backbone, childhoods often meld our futures and the more traumatic the past, the greater the ramifications. You can either let it make you or break you. Your past doesn’t have to define your future, you can break the cycle, but sometimes it just needs that person that can help you navigate, give you the strength and belief, but the only person that can make that change a reality…is you. “Gabriel was a brilliant artist and I was a disgusting, talentless joke.” This book was truly awe inspiring, life is a series of choices, some are harder to make than others, some are in fact not choices at all even if that is how they manifest themselves. You never know what choices you will be forced to make and often you are torn between a rock and a hard place. When life always gives you lemons sometimes it is hard to make the lemonade. This book was about those choices, how one can let them define them and how the other made them a stepping stone, a stepping stone to being a better person. Be the best you can be, find the positives, don’t dwell on the negatives. “He wanted to give me the peace of this moment, the…poetry of this place, the romance, the scents and the sounds and the serene beauty all around us. He wanted to give me love. And, God, I wanted to take it, I was just so scared to reach out and grab it.” This book was all about character growth, I loved how these characters transformed before my eyes. Their journey was fraught with obstacles, both physical and emotional and yet, not once did I ever not believe in them as a couple. Sometimes the heart knows, the soul calls and the future is a foregone conclusion it just took Gabriel and Ellie a little time to fix themselves before that was even a possibility. “and time. That’s all it is, my sweet love. Just sand and pressure and time.” Mia Sheridan delivered this book with perfection. That perfect balance of angst, emotion, laughs and love. Nothing was overdone, everything believable and the story felt organic. Once again Mia Sheridan delivered and although Archer remains my favourite, this one is a very close second.
Review: 4 Beautiful & Broken Stars! - “The force of our connection shocked me, as if he had reached out and touched me in some way I didn’t understand, and certainly never experienced before.” “It was too much. This. And him. And it was worthless because I couldn’t help him. He needed someone warm and caring, someone who would nurture him and piece together the broken parts, someone who would look in his eyes and be his calming spirit. I was not that girl. I couldn’t even begin to piece together all my broken parts as I’d lost them long ago.” “He wanted to give me the peace of this moment, the…poetry of this place, the romance, the scents and the sounds and the serene beauty all around us. He wanted to give me love. And, God, I wanted to take it, I was just so scared to reach out and grab it. Still so fearful it would be taken away. And if it was, I would never be able to go on. I would never recover.” True to Mia Sheridan fashion, Most of All You takes you on a heartbreaking and difficult journey. You know from the very first page, that this book is going to take your emotions on an intense ride and that the road to happily ever after won’t be an easy one. Told from dual points of view, Most of All You follows the story of Gabriel and Crystal. They are brought together in the most unlikely of situations. They are opposite in every possible way, yet are both broken, lost and trying to escape their pasts. Their story is highly addictive and compelling; you won’t be able to put it down. The chemistry between Gabriel and Crystal is beautiful and intense. You can’t help but root for these two characters as they try to navigate their way through life. Most of All You is a well written and completely unforgettable. This is a story of defying the odds and overcoming your fears. It is a story of letting go of the past and finding the strength to stand on your own. It is a story of pain and heartache and forgiveness. And in the end, it is a story of unforgettable and true love. It is a love story that will give you all the feels and is a tale that only Mia Sheridan could write.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of my top books of the year!!
*by P***E on October 17, 2017*

I get so excited when Mia Sheridan announces a new book is coming! I have read and loved all of her previous books. Most Of All You was one of my most anticipated books this year, and it definitely did not disappoint. Her books always, always has a lesson to teach us. What we take away from it is our own perception, but they always teach me about love, hardships and conquering our fears head on. Her books has a strong theme of how love can conquer all, and what a challenge it can be to just reach out and grasp that love and hold on to it. This is a beautiful, heartbreaking story about two very different people. Gabriel has definitely had more than his fair share of hardship growing up. The most endearing trait about him was how he overcame his demons and sees the beauty in all things instead of the ugliness. That is a special trait because as humans we are quick to look for the bad, instead of enjoying the simple beauty of just life in general. "I win every time I'm bold in how I love. I want to say I win a hundred times a day, a thousand, by loving the sunrise, and the wind, and the way raindrops sound on my window."~Gabriel Ellie's story literally brought tears to my eyes and my heart ached for her. She endured such hardships at such a young age. She grew up and hardened herself to the world, this was her defense mechanism. She lived paycheck to paycheck, and at times that wasn't even enough. She was very distrustful of men in general, and she would slip on a mask whenever she was dealing with a man. "Somewhere along the line, men's bodies had all started looking the same to me. Fat, skinny, well built...what did it matter? They all used them the same way: to inflict pain on others, and to take pleasure for themselves."~Ellie Gabriel is an artist, a sculptor, and he is very talented at what he does. He has hands for creating beauty. This book has a strong theme of how broken Ellie is and in desperate need to be pieced back together with love and caring hands. Even though she may be broken, those broken pieces show how strong she is and reminds her of what she has been able to overcome. "I don't create beauty, I just reveal what's already there."~Gabriel "Is that what he was trying to do with me? Reveal some sort of imagined beauty? Chip away at all the sharp edges and rough spots until I was what he pictured me to be deep down inside? What he hoped I was?"~Ellie It is easy to see how different Gabriel and Ellie are, what different lives they lead. But there is a lesson to be learned from each of these characters. They can help each other conquer their past experiences and move on in life instead of being at a standstill. It can be so hard to open your heart and simply trust another human. What if they take you for granted? What if they walk away? What if they take advantage of you? So many what if's we face daily, but you have to come to a point to be willing to take that chance, to open your heart and mind to love. "It's not the things you do with love and good intentions that you end up regretting. It's the things you don't do that you have to live with. Be honest with yourself about your intentions, and then follow your heart. Regardless of the outcome, you'll never live with regret." Gabriel and Ellie both deserved to find peace and happiness within their lives. I don't want to spoil this book for anyone. It is better to go in without reading spoilers, as you will appreciate the story much more. It is beautiful, poignant, and so very unique. I felt an entire range of emotions while reading this book. My heart raged for Gabriel and Ellie, but I was also able to feel their pain, and was elated when they found their happiness. "She spoke of the hurts of her past, the shattering of her heart, but mostly she spoke of healing and how she'd learned that damage is a slow piecing back together. Once, she said, you told me that solid stone is nothing more than sand and pressure and time. I was the sand, so easy to crumble. You provided the pressure, Gabriel, the holding together, the love. All the confidence you had in me was what I needed in order to take a chance on myself. And then you gave me the most selfless gift of all: time, so I could finally break apart and put myself back together."~Ellie
