From the New York Times bestselling author of Archer’s Voice comes a slow burn, grumpy sunshine romance about finding the courage to move forward when the past has torn you apart, perfect for fans of Colleen Hoover and Lucy Score. Crystal learned long ago that love brings only pain. Feeling nothing at all is far better than being hurt again. She guards her wounded heart behind a hard exterior and carries within her a deep mistrust of men, who, in her experience, have only ever used and taken. Then Gabriel Dalton walks into her life. Despite the terrible darkness of his past, there's an undeniable goodness in him. And even though she knows the cost, Crystal finds herself drawn to Gabriel. His quiet strength is wearing down her defenses and his gentle patience is causing her to question everything she thought she knew. Crystal and Gabriel never imagined that the world, which had stolen everything from them, would bring them a deep love like this. Except fate will only take them so far, and now the choice is theirs: Harden their hearts once again or find the courage to shed their painful pasts. Review: Fantastic book from Mia Sheridan, adored it!! - Most of All You by Mia Sheridan 5 stars!!! “It’s not the things you do with love and good intentions that you end up regretting. It’s the things you don’t do that you have to live with.” Wow, this week has been one hell of an emotional reading week, three books, three lots of tears spilled of various quantities. But this is why I love reading. I love to experience those emotions, I cherish that character connection that can only be delivered by an author whose words call to every heart string, every fibre of my being, words that embed themselves into your heart and soul and Mia Sheridan never fails to deliver. Archer’s Voice is one of my all-time top favourite books ever, I have read that book well over twenty times and it is one that I will treasure for the rest of my reading days. Most of All You had all those Archer vibes, it had that same intensity, that all-encompassing emotional connection and a story that even the hardest of hearts could empathise with. I loved everything about this book, my second favourite Mia Sheridan read, because frankly, Archer’s Voice is untoppable. “I told my heart to stop beating. I told it not to hurt anymore. I told my heart I wouldn’t let it hurt anymore. Ever.” Captivating, superbly written and breathtakingly unique, Most of All You delivers two characters that you cannot help but embrace, empathise with, sympathise with and love implicitly. Their story ripped me apart, piece by piece, every ounce of empathy I had was given to these two broken characters that deserved their happy ever after more than anyone. Their back stories were harrowing, but it was those that made them the people they are today. Yes, they were fractured, they just hadn’t found their band aid, until the unlikeliest of couplings brought together one of the most tragic yet totally uplifting love stories that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. “You shouldn’t love me.” “It’s too late. I already do. I’m sorry but I can’t take it back.” I am not going to go into this story at all, this is a book that you need to read as the author intended. From the first word, your attention will be gripped in Mia Sheridan’s words as she expertly navigates the reader through Gabriel and Ellie’s story. Our pasts are often our backbone, childhoods often meld our futures and the more traumatic the past, the greater the ramifications. You can either let it make you or break you. Your past doesn’t have to define your future, you can break the cycle, but sometimes it just needs that person that can help you navigate, give you the strength and belief, but the only person that can make that change a reality…is you. “Gabriel was a brilliant artist and I was a disgusting, talentless joke.” This book was truly awe inspiring, life is a series of choices, some are harder to make than others, some are in fact not choices at all even if that is how they manifest themselves. You never know what choices you will be forced to make and often you are torn between a rock and a hard place. When life always gives you lemons sometimes it is hard to make the lemonade. This book was about those choices, how one can let them define them and how the other made them a stepping stone, a stepping stone to being a better person. Be the best you can be, find the positives, don’t dwell on the negatives. “He wanted to give me the peace of this moment, the…poetry of this place, the romance, the scents and the sounds and the serene beauty all around us. He wanted to give me love. And, God, I wanted to take it, I was just so scared to reach out and grab it.” This book was all about character growth, I loved how these characters transformed before my eyes. Their journey was fraught with obstacles, both physical and emotional and yet, not once did I ever not believe in them as a couple. Sometimes the heart knows, the soul calls and the future is a foregone conclusion it just took Gabriel and Ellie a little time to fix themselves before that was even a possibility. “and time. That’s all it is, my sweet love. Just sand and pressure and time.” Mia Sheridan delivered this book with perfection. That perfect balance of angst, emotion, laughs and love. Nothing was overdone, everything believable and the story felt organic. Once again Mia Sheridan delivered and although Archer remains my favourite, this one is a very close second. Review: 4 Beautiful & Broken Stars! - “The force of our connection shocked me, as if he had reached out and touched me in some way I didn’t understand, and certainly never experienced before.” “It was too much. This. And him. And it was worthless because I couldn’t help him. He needed someone warm and caring, someone who would nurture him and piece together the broken parts, someone who would look in his eyes and be his calming spirit. I was not that girl. I couldn’t even begin to piece together all my broken parts as I’d lost them long ago.” “He wanted to give me the peace of this moment, the…poetry of this place, the romance, the scents and the sounds and the serene beauty all around us. He wanted to give me love. And, God, I wanted to take it, I was just so scared to reach out and grab it. Still so fearful it would be taken away. And if it was, I would never be able to go on. I would never recover.” True to Mia Sheridan fashion, Most of All You takes you on a heartbreaking and difficult journey. You know from the very first page, that this book is going to take your emotions on an intense ride and that the road to happily ever after won’t be an easy one. Told from dual points of view, Most of All You follows the story of Gabriel and Crystal. They are brought together in the most unlikely of situations. They are opposite in every possible way, yet are both broken, lost and trying to escape their pasts. Their story is highly addictive and compelling; you won’t be able to put it down. The chemistry between Gabriel and Crystal is beautiful and intense. You can’t help but root for these two characters as they try to navigate their way through life. Most of All You is a well written and completely unforgettable. This is a story of defying the odds and overcoming your fears. It is a story of letting go of the past and finding the strength to stand on your own. It is a story of pain and heartache and forgiveness. And in the end, it is a story of unforgettable and true love. It is a love story that will give you all the feels and is a tale that only Mia Sheridan could write.

One of my top books of the year!!
I get so excited when Mia Sheridan announces a new book is coming! I have read and loved all of her previous books. Most Of All You was one of my most anticipated books this year, and it definitely did not disappoint. Her books always, always has a lesson to teach us. What we take away from it is our own perception, but they always teach me about love, hardships and conquering our fears head on. Her books has a strong theme of how love can conquer all, and what a challenge it can be to just reach out and grasp that love and hold on to it. This is a beautiful, heartbreaking story about two very different people. Gabriel has definitely had more than his fair share of hardship growing up. The most endearing trait about him was how he overcame his demons and sees the beauty in all things instead of the ugliness. That is a special trait because as humans we are quick to look for the bad, instead of enjoying the simple beauty of just life in general. "I win every time I'm bold in how I love. I want to say I win a hundred times a day, a thousand, by loving the sunrise, and the wind, and the way raindrops sound on my window."~Gabriel Ellie's story literally brought tears to my eyes and my heart ached for her. She endured such hardships at such a young age. She grew up and hardened herself to the world, this was her defense mechanism. She lived paycheck to paycheck, and at times that wasn't even enough. She was very distrustful of men in general, and she would slip on a mask whenever she was dealing with a man. "Somewhere along the line, men's bodies had all started looking the same to me. Fat, skinny, well built...what did it matter? They all used them the same way: to inflict pain on others, and to take pleasure for themselves."~Ellie Gabriel is an artist, a sculptor, and he is very talented at what he does. He has hands for creating beauty. This book has a strong theme of how broken Ellie is and in desperate need to be pieced back together with love and caring hands. Even though she may be broken, those broken pieces show how strong she is and reminds her of what she has been able to overcome. "I don't create beauty, I just reveal what's already there."~Gabriel "Is that what he was trying to do with me? Reveal some sort of imagined beauty? Chip away at all the sharp edges and rough spots until I was what he pictured me to be deep down inside? What he hoped I was?"~Ellie It is easy to see how different Gabriel and Ellie are, what different lives they lead. But there is a lesson to be learned from each of these characters. They can help each other conquer their past experiences and move on in life instead of being at a standstill. It can be so hard to open your heart and simply trust another human. What if they take you for granted? What if they walk away? What if they take advantage of you? So many what if's we face daily, but you have to come to a point to be willing to take that chance, to open your heart and mind to love. "It's not the things you do with love and good intentions that you end up regretting. It's the things you don't do that you have to live with. Be honest with yourself about your intentions, and then follow your heart. Regardless of the outcome, you'll never live with regret." Gabriel and Ellie both deserved to find peace and happiness within their lives. I don't want to spoil this book for anyone. It is better to go in without reading spoilers, as you will appreciate the story much more. It is beautiful, poignant, and so very unique. I felt an entire range of emotions while reading this book. My heart raged for Gabriel and Ellie, but I was also able to feel their pain, and was elated when they found their happiness. "She spoke of the hurts of her past, the shattering of her heart, but mostly she spoke of healing and how she'd learned that damage is a slow piecing back together. Once, she said, you told me that solid stone is nothing more than sand and pressure and time. I was the sand, so easy to crumble. You provided the pressure, Gabriel, the holding together, the love. All the confidence you had in me was what I needed in order to take a chance on myself. And then you gave me the most selfless gift of all: time, so I could finally break apart and put myself back together."~Ellie

Forever Fan Feeling Slightly Disappointed
This review hurts me to write. I went into this story hoping I'd be able to give it as much praise and love as I have all of Mia's previous books. I wanted to so badly be able to give this five glowing stars. She is my favorite author and I will ALWAYS one click her stories no matter what, but I have to say, I finished this one feeling a little disappointed. I'm going to start with the good and what I loved. As always, I loved that Mia gave us a fresh story with unique characters. It's one of the reasons why she has a forever fan in me. Instead of giving us rehashed tropes, she gives us the same tropes, but somehow makes them feel new, and I absolutely adore her ability to do that. I loved Gabe. I loved his tenderness and sweetness, and I loved that he wasn't all alpha which seems to be the norm in most romances these days. I'm here to say that while I love a good alpha male, I love heroes like Gabe so much more, so please, never stop giving us heroes like him. I loved his strong and protective nature, and how much he wanted to help Ellie. And of course, I loved Mia's writing. She truly has a way with words and her lyrical and meaningful prose is what tends to stay with me long after I finish one of her stories. Some stories you pick up and put down and forget what happens a couple days later. Mia's words are the kind that linger in your soul and is what keeps me coming back for more and more. Now on to the things that bothered me. The love story between Gabe and Ellie is beautiful, both of them have suffered through a life that has been harsh and not at all fair. I hurt for them, but even their backstories I felt were a little lacking compared to Mia's other works. I didn't want all the gruesome details, but I just wanted more. I wanted to know more about Gabe's time while he was in captivity, and I wanted to know more about what Ellie went through while growing up. Again, I didn't need all the details, but a little more insight would have aided in completely rounding out their characters. One of the things that always stands out for me in Mia's stories is the way she develops her characters, and for me, that was most lacking here. I wanted to be able to connect and relate to them more than I did. Secondly, the love scenes. What happened to the beautiful tension and chemistry and the culmination of love that I am so used to experiencing between the characters? There was still loads of beautiful tension and chemistry in this story, but when it came time for that love to unfold on the pages, it fell flat. Really flat. I felt like they were faded to black and glossed over and that for me was a huge disappointment. I understand you can still have a heartwarming and touching love story without detailed sex, and yes, this story was still heartwarming and touching, but when I read a book and I go on a journey, I want to be able to feel every aspect of that journey. I wanted to experience it even more in this story because of Gabe's past and why he even first comes to the club seeking help from Crystal/Ellie. I wanted to feel and experience their love. I was waiting for that explosive moment, all the feels I normally get when reading Mia's stories and it just didn't happen. I don't know if this was more of a request on the publishers side to gloss over these things to appeal to a broader range of readers or what, but it just wasn't what I'd come to expect in Mia's writing. I hope to once again see these beautiful intimate scenes in her future stories, because a love story is just a love story without them, and I'm so used to Mia delivering nothing short but epic. Overall, I enjoyed this story, but out of all of Mia's stories—and I have read, devoured, and loved every single one of them—this one missed the mark for me. I'm sad to say that because this was her first traditionally published book and I was so excited for her and to read it, but it was definitely missing things that I hope to find once again in her future works.

A book of hope, love, triumph, sunrises and rainbows
A beautifully raw, utterly heartbreaking, completely gut wrenching story filled with hopeful warmth and tender touches that will wrap you up in a myriad of emotions all while comforting you in the miracle of faith. Faith in oneself, faith in others, faith in dreams, faith in hopes, faith in words, faith in actions, faith in a past and a path of a new future. A story of suffering, overcoming, escaping and finding a path towards survival while they attempt to leave the past behind; one choosing to stay present and move forward with a purpose, while the other escapes and finds no purpose in anything. Each needs the same thing, yet one searches for it, while the other hides. One clings to the past One embraces the future One sees a dead end One sees the possibilities This story forces you to find understanding, strength, determination, friendship, sacrifice, forgiveness, faith and ultimately…LOVE. A life full of promise A life changed A loss of innocence A loss of freedom A fear of loneliness A fear of trusting A desire to seek A desire to hide A need for more A need for hope A dream of…. LOVE Two people coming from similar traumatic pasts; Crystal is stuck there and Gabriel is waiting and daring her to move. He allows her to learn from him at her own pace, giving support and nurturing her through one of her darkest hours. He opens himself up to her in all the ways that matter; providing her with safety and protection, along with all the doors she needs to finally choose her change. There is no pressure, there is no force, there is no complaining, and there is no insult. There is only patience and the wait that comes with the hope that your efforts help and heal the person that has come to mean the most to you. Because LOVE is patient Through the haunting past of loss, pain and the struggle to move forward that is almost tangible, Crystal settles for a life of self-deprecating and self-loathing acceptance that she will only ever have what she has now. She believes options are out of her reach and the excitement of possibility is something that she should not wait around for. Yet it does not stop her from watching in wonder as Gabriel embraces each day at dawn like a blank canvas ready to be painted in the brightest colors of his life, nor does it stop her from feeling a sense of fear because he treats her differently than any other before him. The respect and kindness that Gabriel shows her is like a soothing balm to the very hurt, ache and scars from wounds that run so deep they are part of the fabric of her soul; stirring the uncertainty within her that one day soon the other shoe will drop. And just like in Cinderella, Gabriel is there…ready to pick up the shoe and put it back on her with the most deliberate and delicate of touches to ensure she knows just how much she is worth. Because LOVE is kind And while it is truly a daily struggle for Gabriel to help Crystal heal and see her worth, he never denies her the time and space she needs to come to terms with all that is new. Instead he shares his joy with her. He shares his hopes with her. And he shares his canvas with her. Each morning he allows her to share in his life’s painting in the hopes that she, too, will add her own color to his canvas. She struggles to find her place and the right color to express how she feels, but they both see the very good in each other and want the other to be happy and have everything. Because LOVE… It does not envy There are no grand gestures, only moments. Small fragments of time shared between two characters that lost more than they ever gained. Moments so innocent and sincere that your heart feels as if it is being crushed in the truth of its purity. Moments that seem so simple, yet are the most monumental in their journey together. There is no competition. There are no celebrations in triumph. There is only understanding. Because LOVE…it does not boast And while Crystal continues to struggle with the concept that she is more than the sum of her circumstances, Gabriel continues to show her that he is, in fact, everything he wants to be because of his circumstances. That life, while taking a different path than he expected, or even wished for, he is where he is meant to be, living a life that was custom made just for him. He shows her the portrait of his life, and he does it without reservation. Because LOVE…It is not proud There are setbacks and self-inflicted wounds, as well as defensive coping mechanisms designed to keep a distance from one’s heart and the new found affection surrounding them, but no records are kept, no sins left unforgiven. There are no plans for retaliation, no desire to hurt in return. There is only affection and the need to forgive the wrongs and do right. Because LOVE…it does not dishonor others. It is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered and it keeps no record of wrongs Adversity lurks around corners of the outside world. Those who think they know better disrespect. Those that do know better leave a mark. And those who are up to no good try to defile all the good that is left. But through it all, Gabriel is steadfast in his resolve. He is firm in his feelings. And he is loyal in his efforts. There is no allowance for hurt. There is no allowance for interference. And there is no place for lies. Because LOVE does not delight in evil, but rejoices in truth. It always protects But sometimes it is true that only time can heal wounds. And even though some wounds never fully heal and the scars always remain, in time, the light drives out the darkness, and the good drives out the evil. The despair fades in the shadow of truth, and the light within shines through the fractured soul. Healing is hard, acceptance is harder. Moving on seems unlikely, and trusting impossible. But through it all there is patience, kindness, acceptance and understanding, which slowly chips away the pieces of the wall of protection to expose a heart steeped in fear, but full of promise, potential and joy brought to light by the careful crafting of a man whose hands expose the hidden beauty of things unknown that lie beneath a surface often thought not penetrable, but result in remarkable things of beauty. Because that is love. And LOVE always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres Love never fails.

this is a story that portrays two characters and how they used different coping mechanisms to process painful events. Gabriel is definitely a pillar of strength ...
Ellie Cates learned at an early age that life can be cruel. Suffering from her loss, she never found solace or trust in anyone, especially men. As a result, Ellie hid her pain and formed a protective shell around her emotions. Gabriel Dalton experienced the unthinkable as a child but because of his resolve and possibly sheer luck, he escaped captivity and was determined to reclaim his life. Despite his fears, Gabriel wouldn’t let his circumstance define him or change his outlook. Years later, Gabriel still has one final hurdle to overcome and needed the help of another to move past his fear. Though his motive is honest, his flawed idea leads him to Ellie - or rather Crystal, a stripper who begrudgingly agrees to help him until her own insecurities and fears overrule. However, when an event occurs that forces Ellie to accept help from Gabriel, it sets in motion a process that Ellie doesn’t want to acknowledge and one that Gabriel so desperately craves. Told in dual POV, this is a story that portrays two characters and how they used different coping mechanisms to process painful events. Gabriel is definitely a pillar of strength and was able to use all positive memories to reinforce his belief of making the most of what he has. Having kept her feelings inside for so long, Ellie needs to learn how process her loss and also develop self-confidence. While Gabriel is the impetus, she must stand on her own in order to become the partner he needs. This plot certainly had the potential to really dissect emotions and past pain with a focus on healing. While I empathized with both characters, I expected a bit more intensity for Ellie and Gabriel as they negotiated their way together. My favorite element was the parallels of Gabriel’s sculpting with life’s struggles and resolution. Most of All You is very much a love story with a hero that has a heart of gold and a heroine that is stronger than she believes. The level of romance is high and the author’s prose brings beauty to these damaged characters. This book would appeal to readers looking for a tender and sweet story.

NEED TO HEAL? FALL IN LOVE WITH A STORY THAT FEELS SO REAL? READ THIS!
**ARC PROVIDED IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW** OMG, THIS STORY IS SUPERB. I went through the entire gamut of emotions while reading. It started with the cover and didn't let up until the end. Ahhhh... my heart tightens with such complete love just remembering this brilliant story that I so connected with. It's STILL emotional to me. Bear with me in expressing my heartfelt review.... "Take my hand and follow me to the daffodil fields. The sweet perfume makes us invisible, you know. We'll hide together, you and I. I won't ever leave you alone. ~ Lady Eliose of the Daffodil Fields" Mia Sheridan writes in such a way that I, the reader, literally feels like she's with me each step of the way while I'm reading. As if she's at my shoulder, resting her hand upon it, reassuring me all will be OK. The quote above from this story is the perfect way to sum that feeling up. This author ALWAYS delivers and remains one of my "pedestal authors". Crystal and Gabriel, each with damaged souls, different in many ways yet so similar the pain they've experienced. A lost boy and a masked girl each dealing with their pasts as best they can, the only way they've known how to. He who hadn't forgotten what love feels like and she who shut off remembering that feeling. Pretending you're "ok" through life is tough. Sometimes you need to take it moment by moment but recognize you are entitled to your feelings. No one can "fix" anyone, but it surely takes someone special to love, be there for and emotionally support someone who feels "broken/defeated". As I was reading I was pondering: Is there more to life than just existing? Is there going to be a bright future for each of them or are they forever having to battle their demons? Do they each deserve peace and happiness? I was thinking not only about them but also myself and everyone! This story stripped me raw and consumed my thoughts, but I thoroughly NEEDED it. When one is at a crossroad in life, how do you know the best/right path to take? Are you guided by an outside force in the right direction? I like and need to believe so. My God, Gabriel is a remarkable Angel and I felt like with anyone he cares about, he is able to unwrap the layers of that person's soul for that person and the world to truly understand who they really are. An Earth Angel. Mia Sheridan ALWAYS make me feel like she captures part of ME in her stories or what I'm going through in life. When I truly need the most help, BAM, she releases a story that helps sooth my soul. She makes me want to climb in them and hold them tight, never letting go. This story is so freaking beautiful! I truly didn't want it to end! I am so in love. I've read EVERY story this author has written and each stays forever in my heart but this one, I think because it helped me personally by the message it delivered, will hold and extra, extra piece ♡ "Come with me, I'll help you. It looks like you need a friend. ~ Racer, the Knight of Sparrows" Another quote so perfect in capturing what this story meant to me. Enjoy reading everyone, VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 stars 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗳 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘉𝘺 𝘔𝘪𝘢 𝘚𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘯 🎻 If an instrument were named in honor of Mia Sheridan, it would have to be called be The Heart Strings, because no one else pulls at them quite as adeptly as she does. 🥺 I remember seeing an IMAX movie as a kid that took you on a journey through the human body. I remember the theater was very dark and that traveling down the esophagus was fast and scary. I remember the seats jerking as you went around turns in the intestines. Reading this book felt like taking that same IMAX journey except through the human soul, which felt at turns angsty and pleasurable. I felt privy to the darkest corners of these characters’ shame, doubt, rage, and joy. sometimes this level of feeling was intense and unpleasant, but it definitely made it hard to put down r he book. 💘 The love between Ellie and Gabriel felt powerful and believable. However, Gabe’s love for Ellie is kind of explained as just coming from his own sense of “knowing”, and sometimes that explanation just didn’t seem like enough to sustain a 300+ page book. Also, Gabriel is shockingly well recovered from his own childhood trauma, in a way that felt a little too cleaned up. Like hard to believe he has really been able to shed so much of the psychological challenges that would come with the kind of trauma he experienced. 🌶️ Additionally, and this is personal preference, I would have liked spicier scenes with more details. This isn’t the spiciest book. 📕 I did get the feeling that the book could probably have been shorter though I’m not sure exactly what I would cut? Maybe some of the areas where Gabriel’s repeating comments about loving Ellie unconditionally and it being a fated love. Or the manny times Ellie doubts her own self worth again and again. While I could have done with fewer of those instances, it wasn’t a major problem and was appropriate based on the characters’ pasts. ✨ Overall, I had trouble putting this book down and finished it in basically one sitting, which really says it all. This book is well worth reading :) …. …. …. …. ….

Beautiful
This story was heartbreakingly beautiful, through all that pain there are important lessons that both Gabriel and Ellie take to heart, and the sliver of hope that they carry within all throughout the story makes the entire journey they had to go through all the more powerful, even when it was so painful at times, and the ending wonderful to experience. This is a beautiful book, with an amazing writing style and a message that us readers can take to heart too.

Loved it!!!
Mia Sheridan is indeed, without any doubt, among my favorte authors. She has the talent of writing emotional, poignant stories with Hs that are far from being the typical alpha kind, but are strong, and caring and supporting, the best kind of H just the same. One of the thing I love most in a writer is the ability to make characters and situations feel real and I happen to think that MS does have this talent.

A work of Art... truly speaks to you
Mia Sheridan brings together two lonely people in a unique story of acceptance, recovery and the discovery. Once again she proves she is a master writer and storyteller as she proves love comes in all shapes and forms. Mia’s books are so meaningful and exceptionally beautiful you are frequently in tears or just need a moment to absorb the words. My heart absolutely ached for both Gabriel and Ellie and their traumatic pasts that they both dealt with in extremely different ways. If you've read the magnificent ‘Archer's Voice’, you'll adore Gabriel and his intuitive observations. Gabriel is kind, gentle and has this sense of calmness about him. He has such a warm disposition and a positive outlook on life. His interactions with people leave them feeling valued. He also has a very vulnerable side to him and he wants to explore that more so he can take more steps to move forward in his personal life. This is how he meets Ellie. Ellie lives week to week, struggling to get by in a job she hates but she has no choice in staying as she needs to survive financially. Gabriel is a customer and she catches his eye. It is not her beauty that grabs his interest however rather he can sense something else in her, an ability to mask pain and he really wants to get to know her... ‘If eyes were the windows to the soul, I’d witnessed the CLOSED sign being flipped over within the speed of a single blink. How long had it taken her to master that?’ Once again, like all of Mia’s books there is drama and angst galore in ‘Most of all You’ and although a love story, this is one very much based on the building of a very beautiful yet fragile friendship. ‘Our pasts-and our hearts-aligned in such a way that we were meant to heal each other.’ From the heartbreaking prologue to the very last page, I was held captive by the beautiful words that Mia weaved into such an incredible story. It truly is a work of art... 5 beautiful Stars.

Oh my Mia.....
....she did it again, what a heartbreaking lovestory with two very unusual characters, there is Crystal (Eloise) the stripper who has given up on most of things especially on finding love having been treated badly by most of men since childhood and then there is Gabriel, who got abducted when he was about 10 and was captured for more than 6 years in a basement room. They meet in a strip club, he wants to overcome his fear of closeness and beeing touched, he falls for her but she tells him no, but then she is badly injured by some customers from the club, putting her in hospital. He is there for her all the time and takes her home for her to recover her injuries and slowly they get to know each other from a different side and fall for each other. But then there is his brother who resents Ellie and wants her to leave Gabriel alone, after a terrible dinner she flees the house, needing to sort out her own live first, her insecurities in order to be able to be together with Gabriel as a whole person. She takes her time....but in the end they get their HEA. Mia always has such a compelling art of writing, the story draws you in, you really live and feels for her characters, a book where I kept turning the pages.
