The last one I owned had harder bristles and I was content with it. I had to purchase this one because my old one died out after several years. This one has extremely soft bristles and and a beautiful design but I was worried the brushes were too soft to get the job done. It does an amazing job! It has several levels of vibrations and it is gentler yet more powerful than my last one (if that makes sense). I love the soft feel of the whole brush and I love how gentle the bristles are... it's done a great job exfoliating my face and removing impurities. My skin looks and feels great. I love it much more than my old brush. Plus, it's rechargeable and the color is beautiful. I have owned 3 Claire Sonics before buying this Tec. Bean. The trick to using the battery is to run the brush until the battery is completely used up, charge it over night, repeat. If you want to use the stand to store it in simply unplug the stand. If you leave it on charge all the time it ruins the battery.Not one Claire Sonic lasted over 2 years! What matters most is that this facial brush has a manufacturer which stands behind it! In September of 2017, I received an ungodly expensive Clarisonic Smart Profile facial brush as a gift. By March of 2018, its battery was stone cold dead. The Clarisonic Smart Profile was used about two to three times a week, and when not in use, it was stored with its "charging magnet" on it. I did not abuse it, Clarisonic refused to honor its two year warranty, because the person who gave this facial brush to me most likely bought it on Amazon, or not at full retail value of $350.00 from the Clarisonic website or from Sephora. EVERYONE, BEWARE OF CLARISONIC PRODUCTS; this manufacturer, in my opinion, is little more than a scam artist which is selling highly priced junk to unsuspecting women. What may matter the most about this facial brush is that its manufacturer has vowed to stand behind the product. My hope is that it will not turn out to be a piece of junk like the Clarisonic Smart Profile facial brush proved to be. The brushes on this facial brush are a bit more flimsy than those sold with the Clarisonic Smart Profile, but, so far, I find the brushes on this product to be quite good enough. IF the brushes were more substantial (or close in quality to the Clarisonic brushes), I would give this facial brush a full five star rating.The Clarisonic Smart Profile is my only other experience with facial brushes, and so far, this facial brush by MiroPure has been without complaint and is almost identical to the Clarisonic Smart Profile. Compared to the Clarisonic Smart Profile, its brushes are not quite as sturdy (or don't feel as if they are), BUT the brushes are quite good enough. Better than the Clarisonic Smart Profile, this facial brush comes with an actual charging stand, not some flimsy magnet (wihich requires one to buy some sort of upright container in which to store the facial brush along with its "magnet" and which will accommodate the magnet's cord). I have a friend to whom I gave this brush over a year ago, and he still is loving it and having no complaints. My only hope is that it is NOT a piece of junk as is the Clarisonic Smart Profile and that it will last many years without its battery's going stone cold dead.
