Rigid Hitch Class 3 Trailer Hitch (R3-0518) Fits 2006-2018 Toyota RAV4

Highly recommended! Easy to install, fits in the vehicle like a glove! It came well packaged and timely. Now, for the technical parts and installation, I did it by myself without lifting the vehicle body, just wood blocks on the front wheels for safety. Steps are simple: 1.-With a 10mm socket and a small flat head screwdriver remove the plastic cover. 2.- With a 17mm socket remove the metal hook. 3.-On the Muffler side, apply WD40 and remove the two rubber holders to get the Muffler out of the way. 4.-Unwrap the Hitch and place it on a flat wood and on a floor Jack. 5.- Align the Hitch and tight them 5 bolts provided. 6.-Put all Muffler rubbers back and...Voila', done!

Should've been an easy peasy < 30 minute operation. 1) (LIFT CAR) Remove the appearance panel and tow hook on drivers side - CHECK! 2) Lower exhaust on passenger side - CHECK; 3) Raise hitch into position and secure with the M12 hex bolts and conical washers...GLITCH! The provided bolts fit on the drivers side, but were not the correct thread for the muffler side. I dunno why. It took two guys one master mechanic in his shop with car lift and transmission lift and many tools over 4 hrs. We had to rethread and find alternative bolts that would fit the frame. The final bolts we used on the right side were M12. 1.50 thread x 40 mm long (because the 1.50 thread tap is what we had on hand). Then trim and reinstall the appearance panel and tow hook on drivers side - approximately 4+ hrs later. Looks good now and I paired it with the KUAT TS03B Transfer v2 3-bike - 2” hitch. Thank ful to have a full garage and a friend for a mechanic to do this. SO CHECK THE BOLT FITTINGS ESPECIALLY ON THE MUFFLER SIDE BEFORE GETTING IN TO DEEP - EARLY CORRECTIONS WILL SAVE HOURS.

Item as described by seller, durable and sturdy. I am happy with the product. I couldn't installed myself cause for Toyota Rav4 2018 on the left side you have to cut some cover to install it. My mechanic did a great job installing for me and reasonable price. Would recommend this product to Toyota drivers. Great product.

Perfect fit for our RAV4 and was able to install without loosening the exhaust. It took less that 30 minutes. Heavy duty design.

The hitch was very easy to install. Looks great on the Toyota Rav4 Hybrid. Works great and is very sturdy.

Wrong size and bolt position, it does not fit into my 2017 rav4.
