Review: Does not work -- does not heat -- defective - I opened and used it for the first time 2 months after buying it only to find that it does not heat .. the lights come on, the adjusting knob turns but the plates on the maker do not heat .. the sides do get very slightly warm but the plates are cool to touch. I even tried different settings on the knob in case it was a controller issue and now it is outside the return window !!

I opened and used it for the first time 2 months after buying it only to find that it does not heat .. the lights come on, the adjusting knob turns but the plates on the maker do not heat .. the sides do get very slightly warm but the plates are cool to touch. I even tried different settings on the knob in case it was a controller issue and now it is outside the return window !!

Excellent tortilla machine that makes the best tortillas, puri, and chapati. I recommend this to anyone who needs a quick solution to make tortillas. It's also easy to clean and easy to use. A non-stick pan is good for puri.
