It's SUPER thick, does the job
The media could not be loaded. The sunscreen goes on thick and white, then fades when you rub it in. (watch my video to see just how thick it is!) My skin feels moisturized, but not greasy after using it, due to the oils and other inactive ingredients. (see photo)There’s a faint fragrance like cocoa butter that goes away after the sunscreen dissipates.I looked at the Kovr website to see why the sunscreen is gendered for men. All I found out is that there’s a green camouflage label for men, where 5% of each purchase goes to support Outdoor Research. There’s also pink camouflage label for women, where 5% of each purchase supports National Forest Foundation.I wore it in the sun and didn’t get burned, so Kovr is doing its job.

Nice, all-natural sunscreen
This is a nice, all-natural sunscreen. It uses zinc oxide (6%) and titanium oxide (6%) as the active ingredients. The consistency is a little thick but quite similar to that of regular zinc oxide sunscreens. It contains aloe vera gel and is fairly moisturizing and easy to apply. The SPF30 rating is a bit low but adequate for everyday use. No reactions or irritations on my skin yet. This comes in an opaque white bottle with a factory seal under the disc dispenser cap. It is a little different from the product pictures. Perhaps, it is a new packaging. No outer box though. It is a pretty small bottle but easy to carry and apply on the go. It may be a little low a SPF rating for use on the beach or in a high altitude terrain. Overall, a nice, all-natural sunscreen. It gets the job done.

Too thick for SPF 30
I mainly ordered this sunscreen instead of some other sunscreen due to the fact that it gives me Army vibes, and I’m an Army veteran. The nostalgia is strong with this sunscreen. Beyond that, I’ve been looking for sunscreen that isn’t spray on and this fits the bill. For SPF 30, this stuff is too thick. It feels more like SPF 50 if not higher. I’m thinking the extra thickness is the moisturizer, which is nice but not necessary.

Husband's POV: I like it!
My pale as a ghost husband never liked using sunscreen even though he's the guy that got sunburnt on the tops of his feet. I finally got him using the Sunbum brand which he really likes because it's so thick. Some people like thick, some people like thin. He said this one by Kovr is pretty much in everyway just like Sunbum right from the scent down to the viscosity and how it feels on his skin. He actually prefers this thick consistency. He was even more so excited to try this sunscreen because of the ultra manly camo print packaging on it (but little does he know they also make one with a pink label geared towards women, hah!). It protected his skin in the summer sun just like any sunscreen is meant to do. Get this for your man, he might actually use it!

Hard to Apply and Expensive
This is very thick and doesn't spread easily. It is hard to rub in and leaves a thick coat of white cast on my pale skin. It also leaves my skin feeling greasy and gross. On top of all that it's very expensive at the current price of $20 for a 4 ounce bottle.

Leaves your skin white
My son was excited about this sunscreen because of the army look on the packaging. I am not sure what quite makes this a mens sunscreen vs the womans. In my photos, you will see sunscreen on one leg, which turned my leg white. Also it came out in pieces and didn't rub in the best. The sunscreen is a little thick. The bottle is small. I was really curious with what makes it a military grade. They have a 100% SATISFACTION & MONEY BACK GUARANTEE, so they stand behind their product. We personally won't buy this again as I prefer something quick, easy to apply, and with minimal whiteness.

Works good but hard to rub in
This sunscreen works well but it’s not the easiest to rub in and it is kinda greasy. It does protect from sunburn but with most sunscreen you do need to reapply periodically.

Worked well on kids.
We spread this on our kids and they never got burned last summer. I love the ingredients and highly recommend them since they are safe than most over-the-counter brands.
