Judgmental; not helpful.  Literal interpretation of the Bible mixed in with run-of-the-mill medical advice -- for the author's own commercial benefit.  If being Christian to you includes being understanding and gentle, then this isn't it.

I really liked Dr. Colbert's list of supplements and vitamins that can help alleviate diabetes, possibly reverse it.  I was able to get several of the supplements and started taking them daily last July.  Within a month my glucose numbers and A1C lowered to the best they had been since I had been diagnosed with diabetes.  Now, 6 months later, my numbers were even lower, with an A1C at 6.2!!  The results are so good that my doctor asked me what I had changed to improve this much, to look like results I would get if I didn't have diabetes!  I am still taking my prescribed meds for it, and continuing on the supplements and am so pleased with the results.  Obviously, I am keeping my doctor posted with what I'm doing, and she is thrilled with these results.If you have diabetes or know someone who does, please read this book.  Work with your doctor on this in case there are other conditions to be considered.
