Will Everclear 130 proof work better than rubbing alcohol?

I get a very distinct sense that everclear is what is readily available to them, to answer JFay's question to this question, but they are both but able. Better? One is meant for comsumption, so while I'm not an expert on this, I'd say the generic rubbing alcohol should be more flammable. You could go ask the science department on the college campus you are doubtlessly on, though.

How long does the flame retardant cotton last before it has to be replaced? Where can I get replacements?

Cotton is a 5.5” strip and you need approx 1.5” for each use. Not sure where to get replacement although I assume a camping store or might be able to use cotton balls.

Does anyone else marshmallows turn black? (Not burnt)

Didn’t see any black on the marshmallows. However it does take some practice and patience to get them a toasted rather than burnt.
