This power supply is an absolute beast, and here's why I'm giving it a 5-star review: Reliable Power Delivery: The 80 Plus Gold certification ensures high efficiency and stable power delivery to all my components. I've never experienced any power-related issues since installing it. Silent Operation: The power supply operates almost silently, even under heavy gaming loads. It's a night-and-day difference compared to my old PSU, and it keeps my setup nice and quiet. Full Modular Design: The full modular design is a game-changer for cable management. I only connect the cables I need, reducing clutter and improving airflow inside my case. This is a boon for anyone obsessed with aesthetics. Ample Power: With a 1000W capacity, this power supply easily handles my high-end GPU and CPU. I have room for future upgrades without worrying about power constraints. Stylish Aesthetics: The design of the power supply complements my gaming setup perfectly. The MSI logo and the overall build quality are top-notch. PCIe 5 Support: Being PCIe 5 compatible is a forward-thinking feature. While I don't have a PCIe 5 motherboard yet, I appreciate that this power supply is ready for future technology. ATX 3.0 Compliance: The ATX 3.0 specification ensures compatibility with modern motherboards, and I had no issues with installation. In conclusion, the MSI MPG A1000G PCIe 5 Gaming Power Supply is a fantastic addition to any gaming rig. It combines top-tier performance, quiet operation, and a sleek design. It's a bit on the pricey side, but the peace of mind and reliability it offers make it worth every penny. MPG A1000G - works as usual
The MPG A1000G PCIE5 is a rock-solid PSU with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency, PCIe 5.0 & ATX 3.0 support, and a silent, zero RPM fan mode. It’s fully modular, making cable management super easy, and delivers clean, stable power—perfect for high-end GPUs. I picked this over others for its future-proofing and reliability, and it hasn’t disappointed. It’s quiet, powerful, and easy to install. The only downsides? A bit pricey and the cables could be more flexible, but overall, it’s a fantastic, worry-free PSU for any high-performance build.

Powerful, quiet, with a 10 year warranty!
MSI makes quality stuff. My old PC, now 10 years old, has MSI parts that have never failed, so I got even more MSI parts this time around. This PSU has more power than I currently need. I probably could've done an 850. It is very quiet - at least, I can't hear it above the quiet hum of my giant 200mm fans. And this unit has a 10 year warranty. That is the best in the industry, I believe. I like that it is fully modular, so only the cables I need are plugged in. Full disclosure: I made a build mistake and thought I got a defective unit, so did a refund with Amazon before I did a bench test of this PSU, found it worked fine, and then rehooked it up to my PC. The new unit is the one I'll be sending back to Amazon, unopened, because the first one was fine. The only thing I can think of is that, although I checked every cable three times, the power switch connector may not have been fully seated on my MoBo. My case has this weird tiny box around all of those small molex connectors for power, reset, etc. which bundles them together, making them easier to attach to the MoBo, but each one can move a bit inside that box. So it was possible that while the box itself was all the way down when I checked, that the power switch's molex connector was not. Anyway, once that I figured that out, everything has been great.

Super quiet, PCI express 16 pin GPU adapter for rtx 4090. Only use the cords u need.
I love that this power supply has a button on the back that puts it into quiet mode, which keeps fan spinning slowly unless it needs more power for gaming or whatever. It fit perfectly into the Antec E atx computer tower. If your building a computer with the new rtx 4090, I suggest you use this power supply because the 16 pin adapter that the 4090 requires, is included. Even though the 4090 runs at PCI express 4 the adapter is gen 5 tech that not all power supplies are compatible with. I recommend you purchase the Galax RTX 4090 SG. It comes with an adapter in case your power supply doesn't have the right connector. My build is clean and it's great that the cords are all in a bag so you only have to use the ones you need. No more cord clutter with this well designed machine. It connected perfectly with my Galax 4090 SG. Also I recommend MSI x570 S carbon max wi-fi and MSI liquid cooling units are great too.

Its a really great power supply and well worth the money BUT only if they actually include a 16 pin gpu cable I received mine with that cable missing and had to return it.

I’ve been using the MSI A1000G power supply for a while and I’m very satisfied with it. What I like the most is the fully modular design: there are plenty of connectors, so I can plug in all my components (GPU, multiple SSDs/HDDs, fans, etc.) without any issue and keep only the cables I need, which makes cable management much easier. The PSU runs very quietly, even under load, and my system stays stable in games and stress tests. Build quality feels solid, the cables are sturdy, and the overall look fits nicely in a modern PC case. It also offers good efficiency and 80 PLUS certification, which is reassuring for long‑term use. Overall, the MSI A1000G is a reliable, powerful and quiet power supply, with lots of connection options, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone building a high‑end gaming PC.

The MSI MPG A1000G PCIE5 feels like a truly premium PSU from the moment you take it out of the box. The build quality is excellent, the unit feels solid and well-designed, and the fully modular braided cables make the whole setup look clean and high-end. It also supports the newest ATX 3.1 standard and includes a native 12V-2x6 PCIe 5.1 connector, so it’s fully ready for modern and next-gen GPUs without any adapters. The Zero Fan Mode is a great addition — under light loads the fan doesn’t spin at all, keeping the system completely silent. When it does ramp up, it stays quiet and smooth. Power delivery is stable, efficiency is strong (80+ Gold), and there’s plenty of headroom with 1000W for high-end builds. Overall, it’s a premium and future-proof power supply that fits perfectly into any modern gaming or workstation setup.

Title says it all really. Great quality fully modular power supply with admittedly a no-frills appearance but plenty of performance and great value for money. Compact size for its 1000w output, and in my experience so far its virtually silent even when under a decent load. Appearance is quite subtle but the MSI badge is of its usual high quality finish and a nice touch to an overall very well priced unit. Have yet to demand more than 650w from the unit, but an upgrade to a 4070ti super in the coming months should put around 850-900w draw onto the unit under full load so we shall see how it copes but I don't anticipate any problems. Usual MSI quality with a decent price to boot, what's not to like? 👌🏼
